A making of video for the two Star Trek II Wrath of Khan edits to showcase the work of fan VFX artists.

As a longtime Sonic fan, I thought it was an ok movie that could've been better with more references to the classic games, a less funny villain, and the main character with a more "rock n'roll" attitude. This edit was primarily aimed at getting rid of most of the "Careyims," as I call Jim Carrey's overacting. If you pay attention, Robotnik has a more malevolent and sinister side in the script that was buried because of Jim Carrey's over the top persona. Robotnik is now more sinister, most of the film's songs have been replaced, and various sound effects from the classic Sega games have been used.

THE CLONE WARS: REFOCUSED presents the entire Clone Wars as a complete series of five seasons of about ten TV-length episodes each. Now structured and presented with the conventions of a more mature modern TV drama, it tells the complete narrative of the Clone Wars, retaining all the most important and enjoyable elements of the show, whilst trimming a vast amount of the weaker content, saving you over 17 hours total while still telling the same core narratives. Episodes have been refined, refocused, reordered and recontextualised to maximise story quality and viewer enjoyment, both for the show’s own complete end-to-end story, and for those seeking a supplement or introduction to new canon like the Mandalorian, Bad Batch, and wider Filoniverse.

I watched Interstellar and wondered if the movie could be done without the time travel aspect where one man saves the world by becoming a poltergeist.



So that's exactly what I did. Painstakingly. There are two versions. A dark and a light cut. The Dark cut ends without the ending we all know and the Light cut follows the original movie more closely, but removes all the paradoxes.

A young couple travels to a remote island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.

Three deleted scenes, with some new setups in the first act, and four minutes of new footage has been reintegrated into the film.

Live and Let Die, the Goldilocks version: tempo is dialed up (no more looking at your watch during the boat race), jokes and stupidity are dialed down, Bondgirls are less bumbling, sheriff is mostly removed, and nobody pops like a balloon.

Superman decides to remove all nuclear weapons from the earth, for the sake of world peace. His actions, however, kickstart a chain of events that may leave the world in pieces!

Eon Returns is an edit of Ben 10,000 Returns that keeps Ben’s future unknown by establishing Ben 10,000 as another alternate future version of Ben, while also providing small hints to Eon’s identity earlier in the episode.

There are changes to the film such as all deleted scenes included that not only tie in with the sequel(T2) but flesh out the original story of the terminator & also a film that can stand on it's own regardless of the sequel(T2).

Many new sound effects are also present throughout the whole movie in which I implemented these sound effects frame by frame & scene for scene.

The film starts with Niander Wallace, CEO of Wallace Corp, consumed by the knowledge that a replicant was born, he plots to capture and reverse engineer the child at all costs. Key characters and the core objective are now introduced much earlier in the film, some scenes and exposition have been removed, which either didn’t move the plot along or were duplicated elsewhere. The balance of how officer K and Luv are portrayed has also been changed to give them both a menacing edge and some parity in their motives. Who is the protagonist or antagonist is left more open now. These changes, along with changes to the film score help to add a little soul, intrigue, brutality and tenderness, which rebalances the film and is a more rewarding watch.

I was always intrigued by Legend, but it wasn’t until the lost Director’s Cut was released on Blu-ray in 2011 that I decided to finally sit down and watch it. After watching the different versions of the film, I thought the Director's Cut was the best of the bunch, but felt like it was hampered by some of the pacing/editing and childish humor. With that in mind, I set out to make an edit that used addressed some of those issues, while including specific scenes from each version to hopefully create a more tonally consistent, polished film.

While an enduring cult classic, the original Tron film suffers from a critical pacing issue in its opening act. Cutting between the world of the Grid and the real world only serves to alienate new viewers and confuses the internal logic of the story. By removing the first 8(ish) minutes, the plot is not only clearer, but gets going much faster and with fewer distractions.

Arrow Parallel present, for the first time, John Carpenter's 'The Thing' from 1951. While some damage inevitably remains due to the nature of interdimensional travel, the content has been painstakingly restored and largely remains in excellent condition. After recently seeing Infinity Pool and greatly enjoying it, I decided to go back and revisit the first film that introduced me to director Brandon Cronenberg: Possessor. After studying both cuts of the film for nearly a month, I got it in my head that I would attempt to create the longest version possible of this film using as much footage from both cuts as possible and reinserting the deleted scenes present on the releases.

I am proud to present: Possessor Complete.

Ben 10: Race Against Time - Armageddon Edition is my attempt to improve the first live action Ben 10 movie. The film has its good moments but unfortunately they are overshadowed by some glaring flaws. Overall this edit aims to give a better cartoon to live action experience by removing the cringe and weird moments. Bringing it closer to the tone of the original series.

As a long time fan of first two Mortal Kombat games I was always a fan of this movie too and always wanted to do an edit of it one day. And here it is. This time it isn't as much about changing the plot, but about modyfing the tone & overall feel of the movie. Not to fix it (as it doesn't need that), but to alter it enough to offer a unique watching experience, quite different than original. To achieve that, the movie was completely re-scored with music from martial art films and fighting games with some other additions. Some additional footage taken from other movies was included as well as additional or alternate dialogue lines. Also, some blood VFX and grindhouse effects were added.

This is vastly different than the original cut. We have a new opening to recap the ending of Part 1 and a subsequent scene not seen in Part 1. The tone is less cartoonish and more balanced. There is a lot of new music and deleted material used to flesh out the movie. Much like Part 1 this has the focus on Peter and Gwen's relationship without all the other distractions.

Electro is pushed back to a secondary villain and Harry is brought up to being the primary villain. Electro's motivation is different as well. The accident simply drove him insane and he hears voices in his head.

As Scott Lang tries to spend the last of his days under house arrest, he's pulled into action once more by Hank Pym and Hope Van-Dyne as they team up and suit up to save someone from the Quantum Realm, while fighting a new adversery.

This edit aims to trim up a lot of ill-timed and poorly elongated jokes, adding back deleted material from the blu-ray, outtakes, trailers and TV spots, while also restoring an alternate opening with a mission in 1987, with a young Ant-Man and the Wasp.

The Midnight Angel Edition reintegrates 4 new deleted scenes, and 10 more minutes of footage, as well as restructing the ending of the film for a more fluid finale, with the mid-credits now being attached to the rest of the film.

Phil Connors, a weatherman from Pittsburg, is trapped in an endless timeloop, reliving February 2nd endlessly, stuck in small-town Punxsutawney, with seemingly no escape.

The Long Winter Edition reintegrates 5 deleted scenes, and 5 more minutes of footage, into the Bill Murray holiday classic!

Originally released as an 8 part mini-series on Netflix, The Defenders was met with a lukewarm reception from fans and critics. This edit is a fairly straight-forward but thorough reduction to make this Marvel TV crossover faster paced and more excting.

57 years after Ellen Ripley had a close encounter with the reptilian alien creature from the first movie, she is called back, this time, to help a group of highly trained colonial marines fight off against the sinister extraterrestrials. But this time, the aliens have taken over a space colony on the moon LV-426. When the colonial marines are called upon to search the deserted space colony, they later find out that they are up against more than what they bargained for. Using specially modified machine guns and enough firepower, it's either fight or die as the space marines battle against the aliens. As the Marines do their best to defend themselves, Ripley must attempt to protect a young girl who is the sole survivor of the nearly wiped out space colony.

After coming across two edits of Aliens that greatly renewed my interest in the film, I decided to create a cut of the film that would check all of the boxes for me when it came to a version of the film that would be perfect for me. I present that very cut to you all as "Aliens Revisited".

After Walter and Jesse's frightening encounter with Tuco Salamanca, they plan a way to murder him before it's too late. Little do they know they have an even more intense future ahead of them.

A combined and streamlined version of Back To The Future 2 and 3 - combining them into one movie as originally planned by Gale/Zemeckis.

Combining Jackass 3D and 3.5 as well as all the special features contained in the blu-rays to make a over 2 hour version of the movie to my liking. Also, with new credits and slightly altered material.

Episodes from the 25 best arcs (+2 standalone episodes) are combined to create 27 longer episodes (~40-60m) each presenting a complete, streamlined story without redundant, uninteresting side quests, goofy villains, or childish humor.

This cut rearranges the scene order to tell a thought provoking, subtle, compelling story. The result is more of a slow burn-- with gradually escalating conflict (and a little less Hannibal).

This edit focuses on the events of 1912, keeps Rose's narration, and uses the full IMAX aspect ratio throughout. Modern scenes/characters are reduced to an absolute bare minimum. This cut also incorporates limited deleted/extended scenes but only those which further character development of Rose, Jack, and Fabrizio (or otherwise gives better dramatic impact to their scenes).

After getting out of prison, burgler Scott Lang tries to reconnect with his daughter, as his ex-wife tries to keep him away. A desperate robbery gone askew puts him the radar of redacted government scientist Hank Pym, leading him down a path he could of never expected.

This is a tighter version of the film, cutting all of Hank's scenes until Scott meets him, as the film refocuses on his story and the journey he goes through to reunite with Cassie. A new deleted introduction to Hank has been reinserted into the film, other small elements have been cut, and one big infiltration sequence with an unneeded cameo has been entirely removed.

This is a TV to Movie Fan edit. It intertwines storylines from the CW series Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl. There are literally hundreds of cuts, trims and changes. The objective to keep the focus on our core heroes and jettison all filler plotlines.

This is a relatively light edit of "Sonic the Hedgehog" that trims some of the humor that didn't land for me and replaces some of the pop music with music from the video game series where appropriate. I hope fans of the movie and game series enjoy this!

A boy obsessed with '50s sci-fi movies about aliens has a recurring dream about a blueprint of some kind, which he draws for his inventor friend. With the help of a third kid, they follow it and build themselves a spaceship. Now what?

The Beatles have been rehearsing for three weeks throughout January 1969 to develop a live album, and to stage a perfomance for a television special or film. They have not held a concert or perfromed live since August 1966. The group have decided to mount an impromtu concert on the rooftop of their building, without permits and without permission from the city of London.

This live performance was filmed with 9 angles for the 1970 Let It Be film, and later shown in it's entirely in the 2021 mini-series Get Back, intercut with man-on-the-street interviews, or police dialogue. This edit shows the performance as it's own concert film, without the intercutting dialogue, bringing the direct focus to The Beatles, and their last public performance.

The fifth installment in the Friday the 13th franchise follows a teenage Tommy Jarvis (John Shepherd), who still suffers from nightmares of the mass murderer Jason Voorhees—whom he killed as a child—and is institutionalized at a halfway house near Crystal Lake. However, Tommy has to face his fears when a new hockey-masked killer begins another series of violent murders.

Kidjupiter92 presents his definitive edition of the fifth installment of the Friday the 13th franchise.

This version has a much shorter pre-tite sequence (with a 'bloody' gun barrel), and in the end, Bond isn't poisoned and doesn't die.

I almost fell asleep watching the original version. The pace is very uneven and the film is too long to keep your attention. This edit makes it more to the point.

Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield are hitmen with a penchant for philosophical discussions. In this ultra-hip, multi-strand crime movie, their storyline is interwoven with those of their boss, gangster Marsellus Wallace ; his actress wife, Mia ; struggling boxer Butch Coolidge ; master fixer Winston Wolfe and a nervous pair of armed robbers, "Pumpkin" and "Honey Bunny".

Implementing the suggestion of the eponymous filmmaker and critic, to make what he considered the theoretically ideal version of this iconic 1948 western.

Kobe Skywalker's The Dark Side Cut of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith improves upon the original release by making numerous cuts and trims to increase the serious tone of the darkest entry in the saga. Several cringe inducing scenes are removed, single weaker script lines are trimmed, and a few poorly acted moments are cut.

Using my B+ Movie Edition as a foundation (including animation enhancements), this cut completely removes the Olympus scenes, as well as any explicit reference to the gods' interference. This, alongside a few more liberal trims, allows for an action-focused cut for when you just want to blitz through the film, cut to the chase and enjoy a fast-paced adventure.

This edit shortens RoosterTeeth's fourth season of Camp Camp by having a handful of episodes edited and streamlined into one experience in order to remove certain characters, redundant aspects, and political references to maintain consistency with the previous seasons.

So again as always people who are familiar with my edits know what's coming: A streamlines version of Spider-Man 3 that tries it's best to fit in with the previous two films. No Uncle Ben plot, Harry fakes his insomnia, Mary Jane isn't forced to break up are the biggest changes. It has only streamlined cuts that are seamless.

Warning: If you absolutely hate everything about the original, odds are you won't like this. That said, this is easily my most intrusive edit yet, with huge parts of the story flipped around.

Events triggered by Jason Bourne ripple through the rest of the world, as consequences are shown through another agent of a classified program, Aaron Cross.

A film that spends too much time trying to wrap up the previous entry in Act I, and not enough time with our new hero. A Burnt Outcome tries to cut down the opening 15 minutes of the film, while carefully trimming a few over the top action elements, and adds back 3 new deleted scenes to advance the plot and improve the characters.

This edit introduces the characters straight away and gets them on their road trip to Wolf Creek without the unneeded
party, buying junk cars, mailing postcards and morning after scenes.

This version has a new opening and ending and fixes a lot of the films pacing issues and includes an updated 90's soundtrack.
