The cuts are seamless, the added scenes are really well integrated, couldn’t tell the difference from the original film cuts.
Good riddance to the hallucination scenes, they added nothing to the film and only slowed the story.
There were more deletions / changes than I was expecting, most of them small, and they were all well thought out.
An overall great edit, better than the original in every way.

This edit improves upon Scream 2022 in many of the ways that I had hoped it would. When watching the movie for the first time I found the hallucination scenes very odd. As much as I enjoy Skeet Ulrich's acting, I don't think he was needed in the movie at all. I enjoyed the removal of the cringier lines such as the Hobbs and Shaw comment, and the deleted scenes that were added back in felt very natural and made the story flow better. I also appreciate the removal of some of the stabs in both Tara and Chads attacks because it makes their survival more realistic.
I would 100% recommend this edit over the original theater release.

I'm a huge Scream fan and, even tho the 2022 movie was (way) below my expectations for a new start of the franchise, I was excited to watch it again now with the release of VI. Being able to do it without having to watch the cringy hallucination scenes was great, as it keeps the movie grounded, makes the confession scene between Sam and Tara more impactful and helps to balance the overall tone of the movie.
The choice to replace the hospital hallucination scene with the deleted scene between Judy and Dewey was incredible and seamlessly done, as it matches with progression of the investigation and prepares the mood for the Ghostface attack in the hospital, now that the scene starts later. I watched it with some friends and they didn't even realized that it has been edited.
The other dialogue and violence cuts were done without any harm to the whole picture, as they aren't perceptible and also keep the movie more grounded and less repetitive.
Overall, this is a simple but incredible edit, the definitive way to watch Scream (2022)!
