Brief Synopsis:
Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.

Three deleted scenes, including a new altenate introduction for a legacy character has been reintegrated into the previously unnumbered fifth film, as there is now a new title card for SCREAM 5
Intention:
As I hated that the fifth film has no numbered subtitle, where as the 1-4 and 6 all have numbers, I wanted to make a new title card for my own sanity.

There was also a few interesting deleted scenes, with an alternate introduction for Dewey, as he would of entered the film much earlier, so why not work them back in.
Other Sources:
- Scream 2 (1997) - about 16 frames from the title card have been used here for the new Scream 5 card.
- Scream 2: Music from the Dimension Motion Picture (1997) - Dewpoint was used to rescore Dewey's alternate introduction

I love the inclusion of the deleted scenes in this film. They should have never been removed in the first place and you fixed that problem. Adding the 5 to the Scream title card was done perfectly. My only minor complaint about this fan-edit is the high audio level of the Mindy and Sam scene outside of the Hicks house. Overall this edit is great and I enjoyed it much more than the regular version of the film. This will be my go-to version of the film going forward.

I took the opportunity to watch this edit right before seeing the 6th entry as a refresher - and like others have noted I specifically enjoyed the additional Dewey experience found in this cut. I was never a fan of not adding the 5 specifically in this series especially when they added in the VI for the newest entry so bringing that back was a definite MUST!... This will likely be my go to version moving forward - although they were small changes they added value to the final product...

Keep up the great work Bobson (and thanks again for adding the 5 to the title card

Simple, but effective. I liked the inclusion of Dewey talking to Hicks at the station and Sam talking to Mindy about her suspicions, which add a bit to the characters. The added Scream 5 was a nice touch, I get the joke they were going for in the movie, but with 6 out it's nice to have the actual 5 placed back in. I can see why they cut out Dewey's intro to the story, as it's a bit more dramatic to introduce him when Sam and Ritchie were looking for him rather than randomly popping up at the bar. Only complaing is that some of the dialogue you could sort of feel the noise around them in order to fit the music in, but it's a good edit.

This is a very simple, yet very well executed edit that adds just a couple more minutes to Scream 5, now officially titled Scream 5 with a new title card in the beginning (I get that they were just going with the trend of legacy sequels to using the original title ala Halloween (2018) but I prefer calling it 5, everyone knows it is 5, so adding a 5 just makes sense).

The additional Dewey scenes are great extra moments that we get to spend with his character before he ultimately meets his end, including a scene he shared with Judy Hicks (a welcome addition).
Another new scene has Mindy at a murder site, giving first time viewers reason to suspect her as a possible ghostface, which adds to the tension in the 3rd act when she surprises Amber in the basement.

This edit easily replaces the original as my go-to version of Scream 5!
