Two Towers is an amazing film. It is however sometimes a bit.. off. Helms Deep is absolutely amazing, but the Ents storyline go nowhere.
I aim to adress the films story and pacing issues. This edit is far more intrusive than the Fellowship of the Ring.

Brief Synopsis:
My goal was to make a miniseries edit that didn't simply feel like a chopped up version of the movies. Overall this worked surprisingly well without too much editing, though the Return of the King had to have some extra reordering of scenes to make it work.
The vast majority of each movie is retained, though I changed a handful of things that I thought weren't so well done in the movies (Bridge collapse leaning, Frodo and Sam "rock" cloak at the Black Gate, etc). I cut a few other scenes that were from the extended editions that I felt did not add to the movies at all (extra Gimli humor, Merry and Pippin drinking water to get taller, etc). And lastly, I rearranged some scenes to help the pacing of each episode. With the new format this was needed, mainly in the Return of the King. I added chapter titles to every episode and they appear within the first 10 minutes matching how the original movies did it, I kept the short 45 second intro credits and "Lord of the Rings" Title sequence for each episode, and then added a shortened 60 second credit sequence for each episode.

BUT THERE ARE SO MANY HOBBIT EDITS! WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is a Movie-to-TV edit based on AdamDens' 'The Hobbit: The Original Two-Film Structure', with a few further tweaks.
Therefore, this edit will be most suitable for people who want-
* A high quality edit with well-considered changes, tightened and polished and with minimal frustration
* Tonal and visual consistency with the Lord of the Rings movies, and the retention of the majority of content which sets up its plotlines
* A digestible, episodic structure (8 episodes of ~50 mins each)

Brief Synopsis:
ZSJL was a major improvement to the travesty which occurred in 2017; however, Snyder’s 4 hour release was rushed in production and stuffed with significant filler. Releasing such a long cut, open matted, was probably more for production speed than artistic reasons. This cut re-scores, reduces, and rearranges this film for a more epic feel, with greater dramatic impact in a much shorter runtime.

A fan edit that combines The Hobbit trilogy into one film that closely follows the book and also sits better with The Lord of the Rings film trilogy with regards to visuals / physics / combat. However, other than atmosphere, each story's tone and narrative will still be distinct without any forced references; the focus has been brought back to Bilbo's adventure with only a few subtle nods to the ensuing trilogy remaining.

Brief Synopsis:
Five Episodes. Five Hours. Five Edits.
The Hobbit is changed.
I see it in the Films.
I read it on the Forums.
I tell it, on the web.
Much that once was, is cut. And none now live, who remember it.
It began with the forging of the Great Edits.
Three films were given to the Nerds; immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings.
Seven years to the Editors. Redesigners, and craftsmen of the Forum Walls.
And Five, Five Edits were gifted to the Academy, who above all else, revise for hours.
For within these edits was bound the length and the skill to govern each film.
But they were all of them deceived, for another edit was made.
In the land of Indoors, in the fires of "My Room," the Dark Lord Stromboli forged in secret, a master edit, to combine all others.
And into this edit he poured his creativity, his talents, and his will to culminate all Five.
One Edit to Rule Them All.

Brief Synopsis:
My goal was to streamline the storylines of the main characters through all three movies, as if the end was planned from the beginning. Kylo and Rey were of course most important.
• Kylo’s arc is pretty well fleshed out already, the most cohesive character arc of the ST, imo. As much as possible stays for Kylo.
• Rey needs to stay a nobody. And she slowly discovers her powers. She does not hit a stormtrooper with her first shot, and she less powered along the way as much as possible. She is just a special “nobody.”
• Poe’s character arc is nowhere near as complex as Kylo, but pretty much laid out for us.
• Finn is not force sensitive. This means he does not ever make and successful attacks with the lightsaber as well. Only once does he ask Rey about a boyfriend, from then on he keeps friendship motivations. Admittedly, Finn kinda disappears in the final fight, but there are just too many absurd parts to leave him in (no horses on spaceships in this cut!)
• Characters like Hux and Rose have been severely sidelined as they just do not have satisfying character arcs. Both simply fade out of importance in the final movie, but I hope I have not made it too obvious. Hux is no spy, simply muscled out by other power hungry commanders. I loved Rose in TLJ, but without adequate character development in TROS, it was best to minimize her to simply a person helping Finn on HIS character arc. Consequently, the scenes at Canto Bight are greatly reduced, and Rose and Finn simply do not pilot speeders at the battle of Crait.
Then I also audited the whole edit, based on a great youtube video essay about “showing, not telling.”

It is not a radical restructure, or a two-film cut and does not set out to streamline narrative, quicken pacing, or remove characters and plot-threads. The more time we spend in Middle Earth the better, I just want Middle Earth to be a more sensible place while we're there.

Brief Synopsis:
It's 2017, and Peter Capaldi's time as The Doctor is up. Determined to perform one last defiant act of kindness, the good man makes his journey into night battling the forces of the Mondassian Cybermen, a battle which brings him to death's door. On the brink of death he is saved by his loyal companion Bill Potts and brought to the safety of the TARDIS. Bill heads off on her own journey, leaving The Doctor to experience the miracle of the time lords...
...Or rather would have if Chris Chibnall hadn't been a sodding diva and opted not to start his run with a christmas special, forcing Steven Moffat to helm one more special which just about disgraced and sullied the memory of William Hartnell, undermined the conclusion to Bill's story and dragged out a regeneration with a speech that seemingly went on forever before Capaldi let the part go.

Brief Synopsis:
The 'Entirely Respectable Edition' seeks to remove all material that is silly, overplayed, misjudged, overly comical, ridiculous and generally inconsistent with the more serious tone established in the earlier 'Lord of the Rings' Trilogy. It is not a radical restructure, or a two-film cut and does not set out to streamline narrative, quicken pacing, or remove characters and plot-threads. The more time we spend in Middle Earth the better, I just want Middle Earth to be a more sensible place while we're there.

Brief Synopsis:
As the title suggests, this edit removes all the unnecessary bloat that was added to the trilogy. Clocking in at just over five hours, this film aims to be as close as possible to what Jackson would've created in the originally planned two-part saga.

Brief Synopsis:
A new edit of The Hobbit, two years in the making, inspired by the original two-film script. The first film, The Gathering of the Clouds, tells the story of Bilbo, who is whisked away on an adventure to save the homeland of a band of thirteen dwarves by Gandalf the wizard. During his travels Bilbo discovers his own resourcefulness and courage, as a plot unfolds that might affect all the lands of Middle-Earth.
The Second film, There and Back Again, sees Bilbo and his companions tested as their adventure takes an unwelcome turn. Their quest becomes entangled in a battle for the fate of Middle-Earth. And yet, the greatest dangers may lie within. This high quality edit provides a more focused telling of the classic story, with completely restructured and even partially rewritten plot lines. It is heavily inspired by Tolkien lore. Each film has a clear beginning, middle, and end, both in plot lines and character arcs. The tone is more similar to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and it's color correction has been completely redone to create a visually consistent, five part saga.

Brief Synopsis:
'Where Rebels Dare' takes an already decent Star Wars movie and makes it a bit more Star-Warsy. We now open with a traditional crawl and scene wipes are used. The amount of "fan service" is reduced and the plot is reordered.

Brief Synopsis:
Based on "The Hobbit: Fire and Water" edit with some alternative cuts, different dynamic between Legolas-Kili-Tauriel and a lot less Laketown. Like "Fire and Water", this edit also aims not to show connection between Sauron and Bilbo's ring. This edit is followed by "The Hobbit: Battle for the Lonely Mountain".

Brief Synopsis:
There and Back again turns the three films into two volumes which focuses on Bilbo's adventure, but in context of Thorin's journey as well. Their stories are intertwined so this edit seeks to strip away as many elements as possible that interfere with their respective stories. This is not a 'book' cut that seeks to conform to the novel, so it maintains many of the added story elements that help it serve as a prequel or bridge to Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy, but they are reduced and tightened up so as to not interfere with the primary focus of Bilbo's journey.

Brief Synopsis:
This edit is a little under three hours. The edit is missing all of the superfluous material from the trilogy. The edit also works as a true standalone movie and prequel that does not cash in on any Lord of the Rings references that a first time viewer — given he is watching these movies in chronological order — would not know about.
This means no old Bilbo, no Sauron, no Legolas, a less menacing Ring, and no Frodo.
Needless to say there is also no love triangle.

Brief Synopsis:
I have cut over half of the cumulative running time of the films. What was once a bloated, 542-minute trilogy is now a more digestible 247-minute epic. In general, I’ve tried to keep the spirit of the book intact by removing unnecessary subplots, characters, ridiculous action scenes, and so on.
