Based on Scott Turow's novel "Presumed Innocent" (1987), adapted from its namesake movie (1990), and in anticipation of the upcoming Apple+ mini series, "WAS JUSTICE DONE?" explores the question of justice, inside and outside of the law, in two versions.
In both, Rusty, a married prosecutor, has an affair with a beautiful colleague. When she is murdered, he investigates the case until he himself becomes the prime suspect. He hires Sandy Stern, a top defense lawyer, to plead his innocence. The killer is revealed: Version A matches the original movie, Version B reveals a different killer.
This fanedit is faster paced (38 minutes shorter than the 1990 movie). The timeline is compressed (the victim starts out alive, the affair is ongoing). It remains unclear whether Rusty is the killer (until the reveal).

Dune: Kwisatz Haderach - Part One is the first of a two part project, and is an experimental cut that explores how much of the film can be cut without turning into a muddled, non-cohesive mess. Cutting twenty-two minutes of footage, I was able to create a shorter, hopefully still satisfying cut of Dune: Part One clocking in at two hours and thirteen minutes.

I made this edit a couple years ago, at the same time that I made my Terminator 3 edit. I didn't release it because it was a somewhat minor edit that I just made for myself. But recently, on the forums here, on Reddit and in my direct messages, I have seen a few people looking for good edits of Salvation. So I decided I might as well release mine.

Industrial pollution has destroyed the ozone layer, leaving the planet at the mercy of deadly ultraviolet rays. An electromagnetic Shield now protects the Earth by blocking all light from the Sun. Humanity was saved but it has been living in perpetual darkness for decades. A general malaise hangs over the world as society slowly crumbles.

A small group believes the Ozone layer has repaired itself and that the Shield is no longer necessary. They seek out an aging Connor MacLeod for help. But forces from MacLeod’s distant past have also returned. And they aim to finish him off once and for all...

The Lion King has be released on home media several times over, with changes being made along the way. Many of these changes were for the better, but some of them were for the worse. This fanedit of the film serves to take some of the better changes from earlier releases of the film and add them back into a more high quality, later edition copy of the film. Also included are more songs!

As we approach the 15th anniversary in March 2024, I'm immensely excited to release this new version of the 2009 Watchmen movie. At first, it sounded simple. Just add the squid back in. But I decided it was really an opportunity to expand the movie beyond that. Using voice cloning and footage from the 2019 sequel miniseries, I was able to add back in major plot points from the comic. And by inserting nearly the entire Under the Hood feature as an in-world 60 Minutes type interview, I've expanded the world and story significantly.

I’ll go through both broad strokes and in intricate detail in other sections.

Using Hal9000's edit as my baseline, I wanted to mainly fix the Leia Mary Poppins scene by making it appear Luke saves her by using The Force. This required a major reshuffling of scenes to make this work. Now Luke has one more heroic moment saving her sister rather than the ridiculous scene we got in theaters.

After 15+ years of noodling, I've finally landed on a version of the prequels that I prefer. The main concept is to fix AOTC, the weakest link that brings down the other two, and make TPM lead into it, and ROTS build from it.

The biggest problem I have with these movies isn’t necessarily the content. There’s some stuff I’m not crazy about, such as midichlorians and some of Anakin’s whiney, creepy behavior, sure. However, the biggest problem to me is in the minute to minute pacing. They just feel… weird? Off? Something’s not quite right in every single scene. The most egregious example is AOTC, where seemingly nobody talks like a human being, characters stand around clearly waiting for their cue, and much of the action mostly falls flat.

Even worse, the love story doesn’t work, partly because I think they focused on it way too much. The dialogue between Anakin and Padme is shockingly strange, but the chemistry between the two actors is definitely there. Just letting them spend time together would have sold it enough.

So I’m taking another crack at the Prequels, but I’m starting with AOTC, the biggest problem with the trilogy. Once I get that working, I can build up to it with TPM, and off of it with ROTS. The idea here is to go into every scene and remove that disjointed, stagey, unnatural feeling that permeates the film. Action will be pumped up and pacey, conversations will have that zing that they’re lacking, and the movie will move along at a steady pace.

When you watch this I want you to feel like WBD released a brand new 4 hour Blu ray of Superman without any new fancy VFX or anything. It is just a straight up re-edit utilizing all HD footage possible to drastically improve the movie. NO major changes, I don't want you to notice that I edited anything. I'm just trying to make the best film possible using all the available high quality footage. I almost want to call it THE SIMPLE MAN'S CUT.

Kept the laid-back pace of the main story intact, but trimmed some of the main character family life, and some of the flashbacks to focus on the core narrative without interruption. Some scenes are recut and rearranged for better impact.

Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza! (again)

Five Nights at Freddy's : Fazbear Frights Edition is a Fan-Edit of Blumhouse's "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie released in 2023. This fanmade version recreates the film turning it into a more fun and thrilling experience, but first of all, more accurate to the game featuring selected Concept Soundtrack and with many new Easter Eggs, exploring the film to its fullest potential.

Inspired by the 2018 remake of John Carpenter's Halloween, we have also extended most of the kills in the movie to match its horror atmosphere, making it more bloody but without spoiling it.

Despite the experimental nature of the project's development, we are trying our best to deliver a different way for the community to explore the movie and revisit elements they grew up with (especially those who have been here since the beginning) in a unique way, flirting with the nature of R Rating Horror Films.

"The Other Guys," a buddy cop comedy set against the Ponzi schemes of the 2000's, starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, directed by Adam McKay, could have been SUCH a great movie if it didn't end up so silly and underdeveloped. I have made our lead characters into good, intelligent cops we actually want to root for and chopped many of the extreme, ridiculous jokes. The movie is now tightly-paced and a much more enjoyable comedy with a real heart.

Return of the King is in some ways the best film of the trilogy, and in other ways the worst films of the trilogy. Especially the extended edition. This edit is here to balance the extended edition out.

Two Towers is an amazing film. It is however sometimes a bit.. off. Helms Deep is absolutely amazing, but the Ents storyline go nowhere.

I aim to adress the films story and pacing issues. This edit is far more intrusive than the Fellowship of the Ring.

What is there to improve in Fellowship of the Ring? Not that much to be honest. But some things are better in the theatrical and now used for this Precious Edition.

Live action and animation come together in this retelling of Multiverse of Madness.
The Book of Dreams is all about control. Two powerful individuals, each wanting control in some form. Both mourning a loss in some form. Their dreams have power over them and in the centre of it all is a girl who can punch holes in reality and make dreams come true. Who will come out on top? As long as they all hold on to their dreams, can there be a winner?

This is the story of Boxer Santaros, and his journey down the road not taken. Set in the slight future, Boxer Santaros (played by Dwayne Johnson) becomes caught in the struggle for political power, love, and ultimately his own existence, in this darkly humored, sci-fi thriller. With an ensemble cast including Sarah Michelle Gellar and Seann William Scott, “a beautiful nightmare” is the tale of greed, deception and what happens when egos meddle with the 4th dimension. This is the way the world ends. Not with a whimper, but with a bang….. and a handshake.

The main objective of this edit was to significantly reduce the sillier comedic moments that didn’t quite hit the mark. As a result, it presents Barry as a more mature, competent, and heroic figure. Additionally, I aimed to trim the runtime, getting us to Wayne Manor earlier in the film, while also allowing the action sequences to be fully enjoyed without cutaways to juvenile humor. I hope this can become the version you choose to re-watch if you, like myself, love Michael Keaton's Batman and can do with less Young Barry.

The comically bad Oliver Stone epic from 2004 has been transformed into a more serious war movie that emphasizes the battles and relationships between Alexander the Great and his Macedonian Companions. Two hours of melodrama, bad acting, and cynicism have been cut. Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, Rosario Dawson, and Francisco Bosch have been removed save for a few shots. All narration and the score by Vangelis have also been removed. Vangelis' superior score from "1492: Conquest of Paradise" has been used instead. To fill in for the missing narration and original score, hundreds of new sound effects have been added.

The Passion of J. Robert Oppenheimer focuses on the atomic bomb development and Oppenheimer’s security clearance. Lewis Strauss senate hearing scenes removed completely while introducing his character in the context of conspiratorial intervention. Narrative follows Oppenheimer’s perspective almost exclusively.

The reality is, Final Frontier is essentially an unfinished film due to a last minute slashed budget and a writers strike. Thus, there are plot holes that can not be filled and narratives that can not expanded upon. But hopefully, with fan created CGI shots and some creative editing, I can create something closer to Shatner's original vision in a workprint style format.
