The remake of Walking Tall is a bad movie with good action scenes. But what? How can an action movie be bad if it has good action? By adding in the most unbelievable romance ever, and spending too much time away from the action itself. The actors in this film aren’t that good, except when they’re fighting for their lives, which is an aspect in the original that’s greatly underused. I decided to cut out out the useless dialogue scenes and the love story entirely.

This trims down the excess fat to speed up the pacing and hopefully increase the sense of urgency of REVENGE OF THE FALLEN, and help the film not drag so much. Aspects that limited the scope to such a seemingly small period of time (relative to the Transformers lifespan) were removed. There were other various poor jokes, continuity errors, geographical mistakes that were corrected as much as possible.

Aside from the newly created opening and changed ending, this fanedit removes Kyle from Skynet’s hitlist and makes John enemy number 1. Skynet doesn’t know about Kyle’s importance. It only knows about John Connor because of his radio broadcasts that inspire people and spread hope among humanity. Skynet sees this as a potential risk and wants him terminated. Sarah Connor’s original tape message has been restored.
Marcus has been given some flashbacks to slowly reveal his past. Tried to have the various Terminators appear more menacing and dangerous, and cut most of their illogical actions. Last but not least are little cuts and changes in various sequences throughout the movie.

From what many consider to be the the worst Bond title song ever, to the frenetic action sequences which have come straight from a Jason Bourne movie, Marc Forster’s take on James Bond struggled to maintain that special identity which separates 007 from the rest of the crowd. For this fanedit, I wanted to try and achieve a few things which I hope may inject the movie with more personal emotion and drum home the feeling that Bond’s trail of vengeance, not to forget Camille’s too, is very much what the film is about.
