Halloween. Most people think little further than the strange custom of having their children wear masks and go out trick or treating in the hope of getting some candy.

An unexplained event of terrifying horror in 1963 however, would change the sleepy little town of Haddonfield forever. Whilst the town would still celebrate the festival of Halloween, Doctor Sam Loomis knew that it was only a matter of time before the shape of terror which formed itself back in 1963 would return. Thus, it is time to unveil a portrait of terror which will haunt you forever.

By cutting out a lot of the bloat, bad dialogue, and evening out the distribution of Michael Myer's backstory, this edit creates a much leaner (and meaner) version of Rob Zombie's 2007 Halloween remake.

This combines Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009) in one edit. This edit is a real slasher cut. A "Killer on the loose" edit. In the original there is a search for the reasons he became that way but not in this cut.

I love the Buffy show, in fact it's one of my top three favorite shows of all time, and that is because hidden underneath the surface of an enjoyable mixture of action, horror and comedy, there is an interesting drama with relateable characters that grow and develop. This hidden diamond was cluttered by unnecessary story elements and some bad decisions, that were due to the nature and necessities of producing a tv-show, but through restructuring of the story into movies it was possible to bring it forth and make it shine.

This is a fast cut of "The Shining", with the whole story in it. The American version was a bit too long with some boring scenes so I recut this in a faster edit. Also some (editing) mistakes of the original are fixed.

This is a short cut of It Follows with the music of John Carpenter at some scenes.

Had a request to do an edit of these two films and to create a single full feature. This edit I did was to create the Demons unearthing not only at the movie theater from the first Demons but also show it happening in an apartment complex, from the second film, at the same time. So now Demons 2 isn't a sequel anymore, it is happening at the same time of the first Demons movie.

This edit is about Rick Grimes trying to find his wife and son. This is an edited down feature-length film from episodes 1-3 & 6 Season One and 2 episodes from Season Two. The movie is in chronological order using the flashbacks to set up the story from the beginning. I wanted to create a live action Walking Dead comic. This edit isn't about the whole show, it is about a man that is looking for his wife and son.

After viewing an initial cut of director Tod Browning's Dracula in late 1930, Universal Pictures president Carl Laemmle, Sr complained that the film gave him the "Heebie-jeebies" and ordered that it be re-edited. Several minutes of film were cut and a number of scenes were rearranged, resulting in numerous continuity errors and giving the third act a glacial pace. Although the missing footage remains lost, this edit restores the continuity established in the original shooting script (and Melford's simultaneously shot Spanish-language version of Dracula) eliminating most of the continuity errors and quickening the film's pace in the third act.

Two versions of my fanedit are available on the DVD. One using film elements taken solely from the release version of Browning's film (the "purist" edition), and a second incorporating additional cut scenes and alternate footage taken from the Spanish-language version of the film directed by George Melford and shot on Browning's sets at night.

I love the hilarious spoof 80s Horror/Sci-Fi/Action TV show 'Garth Marengi's Darkplace' but I always wondered what it would be like to view it without any of the mock interviews which make up a quarter, to a third, of the runtime. Then I also thought it would be nice to make a movie-length edit of the remaining material.

Jason Voorhees is dead - killed at the hands of 12 year old Tommy Jarvis. Now, 6 years later an institutionalized Tommy is plagued by nightmarish images of the psychopath he killed. He is taken to a Pinehurst Halfway House in an attempt to reintroduce him into society. However, when a spate of murders starts up around Pinehurst, it looks very much like the work of Jason. But Jason is dead... isn't he?

'Jason's Legacy' is an attempt to streamline a movie which suffers from characters who are introduced solely to be killed off straight away. The idea is to refocus the killings on the inmates of Pinehurst as much as possible. Heavy colour correction also attempts to paint the film in the same light as Joseph Zito's excellent preceding chapter, 'The Final Chapter'. Happy Friday the 13th!

I liked the movies Cold Prey 1 & 2, and the fact that they follow each other in story is brilliant. So I thought "Hey", how about making them into one full feature film. "Brilliant".

In this fanedit the movie has been reordered. It starts much like the original movie (Though some scenes that were flashbacks have been put into their chronological positions) but after Wallace Bryton's initial meeting with Howard Howe, we then follow his friends Ally and Teddy as they team up with Guy Lapointe to search for him. Once they find him (Though his fate is not shown) the movie then flashes back to Wallace and we stay with him and Howard Howe to discover his fate.

Steven Soderbergh intercut's Alfred Hithcock's 1960 film 'Psycho', with Gus Van Sant's 1998 near shot-for-shot remake. Aside from one scene, footage from both films is in Black and White.

This is the next double-feature in the 'Tales From Hell' movie series. Editing out scenes that slow down the movie or are boring.

I wanted to create a double-feature, kinda like 'Masters of Horror' or 'Tales From the Crypt'. So I edited the movies down to about 45 minutes a piece.

In this fanedit, Sutter Cane's latest novel is "In the Mouth of Event Horizon". Many of the delusions and horror elements experienced and observed by the main characters in "In the Mouth of Madness" are replaced by similar scenes and images from the movie "Event Horizon".

Tried to make a great bad zombie movie, just slightly better.

'Midnight Meat Train' was a solid horror film starring Bradley Cooper and Vinnie Jones that had a novel premise and some terrifying moments along with an entertaining story that avoided the many cliches and pitfalls of many run-of-the-mill horror films today. It was original, fresh and very bloody. However, some fans were not satisfied with the overly occult ending and wonder what it would have been like if Meat Train was a straight-up slasher. With this edit, the film is recut into a solid slasher/splatter/psychological thriller with an alternate ending.

What do you do when an 80s cult classic needs a bit of tweaking? You do it when the blu-ray comes out! This edit removes many silly lines of dialogue, tightens the pace and (hopefully) makes the film much better, but I'll leave it for you to decide that one.

This edit of the 1968 masterpiece tightens up the pacing and eliminates some of the parts that are too "In your face". I've also removed some of the stuff that I just didn't get and had to look up online to understand (Mostly the rape scene). So anything that was only understandable if you had read the book is now gone.

A leaner, meaner and more realistic cut which retains the nihilistic mood and tone of the theatrical cut and minimizes the poor characterization and excess 'emotional' moments resulting in a far darker and better Monster movie... The stars of this version are not the humans, but the monsters.

With a well publicised troubled production Terry Gilliam's 'The Brothers Grimm' is in Terry's own words "Not the film they wanted and it's not quite the film I wanted". The "They" in this case would be The Brothers Weinstein, the film's producers, whose on-set arguments with Terry got so bad that production was even shut down while things calmed down.

Still what remains is by most other Director's standards, a great film. A decade later it's stood the test of time and it reflects well on Gilliam that he cast actors like Matt Damon and the late Heath Ledger against-type in the lead roles, at a time when they perhaps weren't taken as seriously as today. Plus giving future 'Game Of Thrones' star Lena Headey the female lead, seems like genius in retrospect. I felt it was time to take another look at this wonderfully loopy and fanciful film through the prism of fanediting...

Using all the available 'Deleted Material' and hints provided in Terry's Director's Commentary, I've tried to bring this film a little closer to the longer and
crazier cut that Terry originally might have wished to have seen the light of day. Hopefully this cut is also better, less mainstream and more like Terry's other work.

The available 'Deleted Material' was excellent but only available in a very poor and largely unfinished state. So as much as was possible, I've tried to finish VisFX, complete the Soundmix and Colour-Grade the footage to match the body of the movie. However, the scenes are still in a less than perfect state, which is why I call this...

I tried to make this edit smoother and fresher than the remake. I also tried to cut out some of the characters and make the story flow better and be quicker to the point.

I tried to hide the fact of how dangerous Myers is in the beginning. So by not showing the murders, it comes out as more of a mystery. It's more fast paced, without much dragging.

'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me' is the prequel film to the cult favorite television show 'Twin Peaks'. It chronicles the last seven days of Laura Palmer's life leading up to her death. When originally released nearly an hour and a half of deleted and extended footage had been cut, and for over twenty years fans have been clamoring for this footage.

The Shining has always been a mysterious film, with multiple conspiracy theories circulating about hidden messages within. One bizarre practice among the most zealous fans of Stanley Kubrick's horror masterpiece is to attempt to 'uncover' the deepest subconscious meaning of an already subversive film by playing it both forward and backward simultaneously, with the belief that Kubrick had designed the film itself in perfect symmetry, as he did with many of the shots.

The result is best described as unsettling, hallucinatory and disturbing. While by no means was this film officially meant to be watched this way, the visual and thematic parallels of the beginning and end of the film are eerily resonant. The first scene for example has Jack telling his employers that "there's no way he's going to go insane" while we watch the shadowy reverse footage of him stalking his son through a maze, showing how structurally deep and complex the film really is. I did not invent this method of watching The Shining, but have put my own spin on it to make it a more satisfying experience.

A restoration of De Palma's Phantom Of The Paradise, presenting the film as it was meant to be seen before its 1974 pre-release mutilations.

This is a TV-to-Movie Edit of Seasons 1 And 2 of AMC's The Walking Dead (a total runtime of 875 minutes) into a 177-minute zombie epic. The is the story of Officer Rick Grimes who wakes up after a coma during the zombie apocalypse and goes on a quest to find his family. The numerous horrors he and a small group of survivors endure while seeking refuge from the legions of the undead are chronicled here. The goal of this edit was not to cram every detail of the series into a limited time-frame, but to create a film version of the Walking Dead story which would appeal to both fans of the show and newcomers alike.

The Season 3 episodes, "Dark Awakening" and "The Return of Optimus Prime", are combined into a short film.

Presented in a remastered HD version and with a new DTS 5.1 audio mix, this new cut should please everyone who's ever enjoyed Roald Dahl's unique style, by making what is arguably the best film based on R. Dahl's work an even more faithful adaptation.

This version runs 15 minutes shorter than the original director's cut. It was recut by John Boorman the day after the premiere of the film, and was released in theaters worldwide, then on VHS. This was the only version of The Heretic available for more than 15 years. It then completely vanished when the film was released in a different cut, first on the VHS re-edition in 1993, then on DVD in 2002. Although this rare theatrical cut misses many scenes, it also features some additional footage exclusive to this version. Some scenes are ordered differently. It includes an added flashback scene, stock footage of Regan as the demon, extra gore, and a different ending. Some of the music and sound effects are also noticably different.

This is Buffy Season 1 and 2 formed into a series of five movies. Every one of these movies has a reimagined story arc of its own, but there is an overarching story arc as well that weaves them together to a greater whole. This Buffy saga, named "Buffy Reimagined", contains these movies:

This movie was a bomb. What should have been a good movie was turned in to a mess. I felt it needed a fanedit so we could have a good send-off to the original Friday the 13th's.

On one last road trip before they're sent to serve in Vietnam, two brothers and their girlfriends get into an accident that calls their local sheriff to the scene. Thus begins a terrifying experience when the teens are taken to a secluded house of horrors, where a chainsaw weilding maniac is waiting for them...

The movie with multiple versions just got another one.

This is ‘Milo & Otis’ synced up to a Pink Floyd masterpiece.

‘Milo & Otis’ is a Japanese film about a cat and dog swept up in hazardous adventures in the wild. ‘Animals’ is a progressive rock album by Pink Floyd, inspired in part by George Orwell’s ‘Animal Farm’. It takes aim at politics, with deeper themes of life and death, manipulation, greed, blind faith and power. And it’s pretty rocking.

Much like the first Biohazard and its prequel, my aim was to strip the films of cheesy one-liners and overdone action to help make the films more enjoyable. As I did with the original Biohazard, I restored a couple of deleted scenes to add more character moments.

A shorter, darker edit of the EVIL DEAD remake, deleting some dumb dialogues and one-liners, and re-inserting the infamously missing "We're Gonna Get You" scene.
