In the last days of 1999, Los Angeles has become a dangerous war zone, as a former cop turned street-hustler accidentally uncovers a conspiracy that is set to bring the city to its knees.

Two new and extended scenes have been upscaled, colour corrected and reintegrated into the film, adding over 4 minutes of new footage.

Using the season one premiere episode "Population: Zero" as a foundation, the viewer will learn our hero's bionic beginnings through flashbacks to previous tv movies and episodes, all the while retconning the roles of Oscar Goldman and Alan Oppenheimer's Dr. Wells in Steve's origin.

After the fall of France to the Nazis and the evacuation of the British Army from Dunkirk, the Royal Air Force must defend their homeland from the threat of invasion by a battle-hardened and numerically superior opponent during the summer of 1940, with the future of the country, and maybe even the whole of Europe, hanging in the balance.

This edit is, on the whole, a simple tightening of the director Guy Hamilton's ambitious 1969 retelling of these events, hopefully making it more approachable for the audience.
