Brief Synopsis:
I have combined all three of the Back To The Future films into one continuous adventure.
Intention:
I have loved these films since I first saw them in the cinema, and had wanted to do something fun by combining them into one long film. This was done for fans of the films, plus anyone wanting a movie marathon of sorts!
Other Sources:
Introduction / Fan edit warning screen: I used parts of the teaser trailer, combined with separate SFX and music tracks. The audio from the trailer was put through an AI audio separation tool in order to extract pieces of SFX.
Music for the end credits: “Back In Time” plays in full, as does the end credits music track from the end of Part 1.

Special Features
There are subtitles for each film, sourced from an official Blu-ray release, which were edited to match the timing of the fan edit. In some instances I have made a few adjustments to the subtitles, to more accurately match the tone of the scene, or the emotion being expressed by the actor, as well as correcting spelling, grammar and punctuation in a few places.
In some parts I’ve added in subtitles that the actors spoke, but were erroneously left out of the original subtitle files. There were also some instances of subtitles being completely different to what the actors said, so I’ve corrected that too.

Editing Details:
I thought carefully about the overall story, and how it all flowed together. In order to make it into one seamless film, certain parts needed to be trimmed or cut out. The original films thankfully don't have any slow parts or unnecessary exposition, so there wasn't a huge amount to cut.
Since this is a very long film edit, I needed to make sure that nothing in the edit dragged on, or would leave a viewer feeling bored or restless.
I opted to leave out any deleted scenes, as not only are they in poor condition (visually speaking), but they would have slowed down the pace of each film considerably.

Cuts and Additions:
Removed the yellow tint present on Blu-ray versions of Part III.
Removed the opening Universal titles from each film.
Relocated the end credits for Parts 1 & 2.
Removed the opening credits for Parts 2 & 3.
Removed the footage from Part 3 shown as a preview at the end of Part 2, as well as the “To Be Concluded” text.
I’ve removed the repeated scene of the DeLorean being sent from 1955 back to 1985 at the end of Part 2, which we already saw at the end of Part 1. The scene now goes from Marty finishing talking to the Western Union representative, to Doc walking down the street after the DeLorean successfully made the trip forward in time to 1985.
End of the abovementioned scene: I’ve used AI software to remove the music at the end, and added in the sound of the approaching storm from the beginning of Part 3. This scene now goes to the beginning of Part 3, albeit minus the opening credits.
End credits for each film are there in full; I added title cards for each film (“Credits for Part 1”, “Credits for Part 2” etc.). I sped-up the end credits, so that they last two minutes each.

I really loved the rocking Red Apple Crew Logo sequence though I think the transition between the A Phase 3 Edit and the creative disclaimer could have been slower and smoother though as to the feature presentation itself…Great Scott! this is a long edit and probably the longest fanedit I’ve ever seen thus far though it is definitely an edit I would watch again whenever I want to pass a great deal of time or when it’s just simply one of those days where nothing of great importance or meaningful significance is happening.
As there’s no breaks between these whopping five hours it’s definitely recommended to save consumption of beverages until near the final hour of the runtime unless one is prepared to pause this engaging time traveling adventure several times in which case multiple pauses and multiple consumption of beverages isn’t an issue, as it’s one file that naturally means less mouse movement and clicking which greatly reduces the risk of getting Repetitive Strain Injury or RSI and best of all no having to get up and change disks repeatedly.
Additionally I love the reduced size of those black bars as more of the picture can be seen providing a greater sense of focus for the eyes and minimising distractions though there was one audio and visual bit in the edit that was a little distracting which was the scene where Doc falls over at the end of part II and Marty yells out his name as the volume in his voice seems to spike for a small brief moment with the distracting visual edit being how the ending credits are essentially segmented into parts rather than being combined into one.
Otherwise the audio and visual transitions between films was so seamless that I couldn’t tell they were edited together though given the foresight and devotion to the overarching narrative between films they honestly slide and fit onto the body that is known as continuity like a well made business suit.

There is no better compliment to give than to say "this edit makes the original obsolete" and that is the case here. This is a great example of how often times, less is more in editing classics. Great work, thank you for sharing your edit.
One point has been deducted in audio editing because their is one scene that needs MINOR POLISHING. This certainly shouldn't stop any fan from checking this out asap.

This is exellent!
It's a perfect way to watch the whole trilogy in one Epic sitting.
The running time is quite long but you get three classic films lined up and put together seamlessly.
Audio and visuals is topp notch quality and the enjoyment is really high.
So just bring out a big box of popcorn and have yourself a few hours of first class entertainment!

I love this edit!
This is a fantastic way to watch the trilogy. I watched the trilogy as individual movies a few weeks ago, yet enjoyed this so much more as one continuous movie. As Fanedits go, the tendency is always to do lots. Remove scenes here, add deleted ones there, rescore, etc. but sometimes less is just more.
I watched a similar Fanedit combining all three films a little bit ago. It also had deleted scenes added, there were spliced scenes from 2-3 into 1 when timeline characters overlap, etc. It was really well done and I'm very happy I watched it. That said, from a pure enjoyment perspective all the extras took me out of the story.

Watching the Back to the Future trilogy as a combined long movie was the best experience I had in ever viewing these. It saves a lot of time when you can bypass the openings and closings of the movies along with the duplicate scenes.
The one long movie structure works well here because the movies continue exactly where the prior one ends. This would not work in other movie series, such as Star Wars. It is also ironic that these movies involving time travel do not have any time lapse when going from one to the next.
I also recently looked through some of the deleted scenes on YouTube, and wholeheartedly agree with them being left out by the editor. He is correct in stating that they would just slow down the pace in what is already a long movie. If someone is interested, there are always the extended editions by Bobson Dugnutt.
If somebody wants to watch and enjoy the Back to the Future movies in a time efficient manner without any alterations to the story, then this is the edit for you.
