Brief Synopsis:
The super Mario movie is pretty great. But it has a few things keeping it from being a pure Mario movie.
Intention:
The Mario movie suffers from producer's thinking people want 80's tracks more than they want Mario tunes and orchestrated pieces.
Other Sources:
Used the official Super Mario Movie soundtrack, and a fanmade track found on youtube that's really good for the kart section.

Cuts and Additions:
- Cut the dog attacking the bros. Now it appears that the faucet the bros fixed triggered the flood.
- Removed peach saying she completed the course in one try
- Remover all 80s song
- Added new voice over for Cranky Kong. I hated the original voice
- Added the N64 sound when Mario and Luigi throw bowser in the air
- Added a few game toad sounds to the ending
- Added Plumbing is our game to title. Props to Artisdead for coming up with the name of the fanedit!
- Put the post credit scenes before the final credits start rolling
There are 5 audio tracks.
- Track 1: Voice over by DonkeyKonga for Cranky Kong!!! Full OST replacement. Take on me is replaced by the best version of Jungle Hijinx you'll ever head. This is the DonkeyKonga version. Ad-lipped a line where Cranky said 'ah he makes me laugh' and changed it to 'A little guy with a moustache!'
- Track 2: Full OST replacement with official songs released by Nintendo. The version Nintendo should have released.
- Track 3: Full OST replacement except for I need a Hero. I need a Hero is the only 80s song that tells a story, so for those who like it I kept it as an option.
- Track 4: Same as track 1, without the Voice Over.
- Track 5: Original nintendo OST with Voice over.

great edit, if you like the the movie you will enjoy this, a version with more cuts and a faster pace with more of the jokes that were not that funny cut would be great but thats just my personal opinion.

Loved this edit of Super Mario Bros everything was pretty much fixed. Most of the distracting pop songs are gone No Take me Home or Thunderstruck here, the only exception is the Beastie Boys: No Sleep in Brooklyn when Mario and Luigi run to their first job. Its a minor complaint and I can see why it was left in as it was before Mario and Luigi were pulled into the warp pipe. But the segment was supposed to be a rough layout for the Super Mario Bros 1-1 level so a rock remix of 1-1, or the classic Mario bros arcade theme, or even the press start theme (as another reviewer suggested) would have been great.
Cranky's voice was on point and sounded much more like he should have. I was skeptical of the voice acting but DonkeyKonga really pulled it off every annunciation of yells and wording fit the animation perfectly I wasn't taken out of the story once well done.
Finally thank you for removing that annoying Dog scene I always thought it was a little bit much it will not be missed here.

I love this so much! I've been looking for a fan edit that fits in the music and it's nearly perfect in that regard. The only criticism with the soundtrack is the beginning when the Mario bros are running through Brooklyn, I really truly wish the track (Press Start) from the soundtrack was there instead of whatever rock song was put in. But besides that the sound track was fixed and sounds awesome! The editing is so unnoticeable in a good way, it feels like the original edit by the studio. Fantastic! Also I love the removal of the dog scene. Kinda made it feel more like Illumination putting their taste in it for a few minutes in the original cut. One other thing is I noticed at least with my copy on VLC the audio kinda
sounded low quality (I was using the 14.8GB digital copy), felt like the audio quality was a bit muffled maybe? not exactly sure how to describe it, maybe the mixing sounded louder for voices compared to music? or something like that. So The Audio Quality could use an adjustment in the next update in hope there will be more updates! So overall amazing cut! I will watch it again, just wish the audio quality was a bit nicer. But yeah thank you so much for making this wonderful cut and I hope to see more updates in the future! <3

The original soundtrack fits much better into the movie than the pop songs and made a great movie almost perfect. The original music made me smile a lot while watching the movie. Also DonkeyKonga's voice makes Cranky more apish. Great work on that, too!
As an owner of the 4k bluray, I would have wished for a higher bitrate version. But that's whining on a very high level. I highly recommend Plumbing is Our Game and prefer this version over the 4k bluray one.

Dope fanedit. What can I say more? The audio editing is great and the changes are perfect. This fanedit increased my enjoyment of the already fun movie. I definitely recommend it.
