Brief Synopsis:
This BvS edit keeps the focus on the conflict between the titular heroes by removing all the interfering DCEU scenes and connections, also making edits to minimize some of the “infamous” elements and moments in the film. Nevertheless Snyder’s signature style remains intact.

False God retains all UE scenes that strengthen Lois and Clark’s respective investigations and Luthor’s manipulations but controversial elements have been alleviated (Lex’s ticks reduced, more respectful/hopeful ending). Removal of the DCEU connections close the door to the JL movie but leaves it open for the Wonder Woman (2017) 'self-contained' solo movie to connect.
Intention:
Work on this edit began in 2018, with the intention of turning BvS into a dramatic conclusion instead of a bridge to JL and an extended universe.
Although today the Snyder Cut exists and connects to most of the plot threads from BvS, the story that Snyder was telling still hasn’t received it’s planned conclusion; with JL 2017 not feeling like part of the same universe. And ZSJL still requiring a JL2 to fully end the narrative.

This sad situation WB created inspired me to return and finish my work on False God; an effort to give Superman’s journey a definitive ending that encourages Batman to return to the light as the hero he once was. And motivates Wonder Woman to take back her place as humanity’s protector. No DCEU interference, with careful edits to various controversial elements.

Editing Details:
For this edit I followed 2 core parameters:
- Keep Snyder's style as is, unlike other fan edits that try insert "Donner or Burton era" elements or vibes.
- Allow the elements commonly perceived as positive to shine while diminishing the impact of elements often considered as negative.

After all the changes made, the edit has a 2 hours and 45 minutes running time. It’s 15 minutes longer than the theatrical cut but preserves all the scenes that were plot relevant from the Extended Cut while removing the interference of JL/DCEU connections.

Rearranging of a few scenes was implemented, for some events to have more “logic” or for the narrative to flow better.
Cuts and Additions:
- Minor Re-colored Image
- IMAX Wayne family intro.
- Jack’s call is interrupted.
- Shorter Lex ad lib at basketball court.

- Bruce arrives to event, Clark is not surprised by Wayne.
- Less awkward Lex speech at event.
