Malthus has created a great fanedit! He has managed to fix a very mediocre film and has made it much more watchable, fun and unpredictable. His change of the order of acts is incredible and managed to keep me fully entertained until the end. The way he managed to improve the tone of the film and make us wonder whether or not Thor is a god or just crazy guy even though we all already knew the answer is really impressive and exceptionally done. I'd recommend this fanedit over the original film any day of the week and it's the way I'm gonna watch this film, whenever I wanna rewatch MC, from now on. It's still not the best movie in phase 1 of the MCU but it's vastly improved with much needed removed scenes and added deleted scenes. Thank you Malthus for creating one of the best MCU fanedits I've ever seen and I can't wait to see more of your content soon! Take care!

I have had this edit for a while and IRL meant that I haven't been able to watch it until now.. and... WELL!! That was a BLAST! I am not a loyal MCU fan, but I do enjoy the movies for a bit of mindless, turn my brain off bit of fun! And this was super fun! It's great how shuffling some scene about really does change a viewing experience! There are a couple little sound issues here and there, but overall the enjoyment I had with this was far superior than the original edit.

It never ceases to amaze me how people come up with this type of stuff, but I am thankful that they do, because I have seen so many films now with additions such as replaced soundtrack or deleted scenes added back in, and its been an incredible experience!

If you love the MCU films (and even if you don't) I recommend this edit! Its definitely going to be my preferred version of this MCU film from now on!

A well put together edit and looking forward to watching more edits by Malthus! 10/10

I liked the first Thor movie, but haven't watched it in a while. When this movie first came out, I thought it was brilliant - in the aspect of doing a fantasy god superhero movie. And Anthony Hopkins makes everything more dignified. But upon rewatch of the original, I gave it a lot of passes. So, the idea behind this edit seemed interesting.

This movie does help out a lot with this. The seamless editing to bring in the deleted scenes help flesh out a lot that was missing in the original. The editing quality was excellent and I never noticed any audio or visual errors. Top quality considering there was rescoring as well, which was seamless.

The rest is just a matter of personal interpretation. For me, the mystery man angle didn't work as well as I hoped. Maybe its because I know Thor too well now, but the interactions between Thor and humans seems a bit odd and hard to relate too. The original movie shows so much Asgard first, that weird humans don't seem as obvious, especially when we know who they are talking to. But now that it starts as a human movie first, their actions and reactions around a regular guy seem too eccentric. The back and forth scene changes between earth and Asgard help in the original. But that may just be me overanalyzing. The changes to create mystery create other effects too, like Heimdell coming off as more robotic and less stoic, Thor learning that his father is dead has less emotional weight, Loki doesn't seem AS inherently sneaky and Thor doesn't seem AS spoiled at the beginning of his arc.

This a great way edit again that expands ways to tell the story, and I while it might not be my go-to version, it is a refreshingly fun watch.
