I enjoyed watching this edit overall, technical editing is superb. Sometimes the dialogue is too quiet.
As another reviewer mentioned: the narrative works but the placement of the flashback didn´t felt good.

Would´ve loved a higher quality regarding the encode, sometimes the video looks kind of washed out. Perhaps it´s the colour-grade and i´m wrong.

BUT, this is enjoyable and the best edit so far for this movie

Very interesting scene repurposing but the deleted scenes really enhance a film which I already love very much, overall I really enjoyed this and feel it is pretty much a suped up version of the movie as it stands. Very good stuff :)

A much-needed shuffling of the narrative works wonders here, lending mystery to an otherwise dull superhero origin story. Your mileage for god-out-of-water shenanigans may vary, but to my mind, the addition of the deleted scenes hinder, rather than help, though. Pacing was already a problem for the original cut and this isn't helped particularly by adding more scenes to the mix. For my next MCU and/or Thor re-watch I'm curious to try Malthus' non-Godsized re-cut of this same film, to see if the pacing is more to my liking. (When a major character takes an extended nap in the middle of a movie, my immediate reaction should ideally not be "oh, what a lucky guy.")

However, aside from my quibbles about the runtime, this is a technically excellent edit, with plenty to recommend it.

I really enjoyed this cut, the narrative flows much better this way. The only thing I have to criticize is that the Asgardians showed a little too early but I doubt there was any other way to do it with just cutting. But from now on, I will only watch this cut when I move the movie again.

It was enjoyable and much funnier this way.

Malthus has done a masterful job in this fan fix of Thor. Restructuring the narrative to place the reveal of Asgard later in the film does much to add suspense and a sense of intrigue. Character development seems more complete in this edit, and the viewer is more vested in the characters as a result. Deleted scenes have been added seamlessly. Recommended viewing.
