Bruce Wayne is forced to confront his dual nature as Batman as a brilliant megalomaniac and a psychotic district attorney wreak havoc over Gotham.

Joel Schumacher has never been ashamed or denied that the final cut tone of the movie was his vision, and in several interviews he develops and justifies his choices and style.

To this date, no fanedit has ever done this, as they always took liberties in cutting out small (or sometimes entire scenes) moments here and there that say more about the editor’s personal taste than about the director’s wishes.

So the only liberty i took as a editor is include the deleted scenes and alternate/extended shots to the theatrical footage.

The Virtual Workprint, as edited by Josh Janson one of the more well-known edits of the film, is still my preferred cut of the film despite it's poor video quality. The HD Rebuild uses the most recent Blu-Ray to completely remake Josh Jenson's original edit from scratch in as high quality as possible.

The edit features 10 minutes of new footage, including 7 deleted scenes with an alternate opening and ending, and 10 additional shots and lines from trailers and more, while also trimming a few of the more over-the-top moments from the final film.
