Game of Thrones: Redeemed

I watched the original season 7 twice and season 8 once. My gf never watched GoT. We both really enjoyed this season. Throughout the watch I was thinking that 'redeemed' was really the appropriate name for this edited version. It was such a new experience, it feels satisfying watching this after rewatching the previous six seasons.

The original final seasons retroactively poop all over everything that came before, effectively ruining the entire series. It has made me angry and I will rant about it given any tangent of an opportunity. This though... this is truly redeeming. Obviously it can't be perfect because there's only so much to work with. But my god, what a difference this is. It comes together and makes sense. I would have never watched GOT again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone watch the series because of how pooptastic it originally ended.

This changes everything!

I'm about to start the last two episodes as I type this, but it's already making me want to watch the whole series again. Truly redeeming. Amazing work!
