The main issues with Attack of the Clones to me was its bad dialogue and slowish tempo. CGI is quite a bit outdated as well. However I like the movie and prequals altogether. That being said Q2 has edited the movie into faster phase, made the dialogue and with it the relationship of Anakin and Padme more convincing and less cheesy.

There were a few big scenes the faneditor cut like Obi Wan chasing Jango Fett and also Yoda VS Count Dooku battle. Now these are the biggest issues to me with this fanedit as I liked them both, even the lightsaber duel of Yoda VS Count Dooku. To compensate the loss Q2 has also cut a lot of bad scenes.

Audio quality was great and video quality was quite good as well, although the image felt a bit too light(?) and mushy.. but only a bit. Compared to what? Well, for example to The Approaching Storm fanedit or original Blu-Ray. Video and audio editing were done very well technically.

Overall this fanedit was pretty good, although not as good Q2's Phantom Menace fanedit in my opinion. It accomplished its original goal nicely.

Well, what can I say? Q2 has done it again! just as promised this version of Ep II, as is Q2′s other edits, they cut anything that breaks continuity with the OT, well mostly. Warning: Spoilers ahead.
It is obvious, and you can’t blame no one, except for Lucas himself, it is impossible to cut all of C3PO and R2. But they’re never referenced by name but that is certainly okay, at least for me. These OT focused cuts, are what really drives me to love these edits. On the other hand I’m not so certain on other thematic matters.
While the droid factory is, for the first time I know of entirely cut, and the wonderful execution of the “toxic dart” plot (and this totally adds to Padme’s character. Although the trial deleted scene might have been a nice addition to add some much need clarification of what exactly is going on) there are several times I asked myself, “What?” Several examples come up. One, I always liked the “I hate it when he does that” line, when you properly cut all the sh*t between Anakin and Obi-Wan, that line changes meaning, and in my mind, makes it feel like they’re best friends, in the way that they like to poke at each other from time to time. Another thing was Obi-Wan going to get a drink. For one, it’s humor, but not childish humor. And two, it adds a lighter tone to the mind tricks used in “A New Hope”. Another thing, was the action between Jango and Obi on Kamino. Just gonna say it. It screams PT! I would much rather have cut it down similar to L8’s version and replaced it with the sequence over Geonosis. “This is why I hate flying”. Now what I cannot believe is that, “I have a bad feeling about this…” is cut. It’s legendary Star Wars! No further explanation. Finally, I would have cut the public execution scene down further, it just felt a tad long compared to the rest of the pacing. Otherwise, the edit was perfect.
Anyhow, I highly recommend seeing this edit for anyone here. It might or might not be your go-to version of Ep II.
Great Job, Q2! 9/10

Thank you for the review Stardood. I would like to address one of your comments, that of cutting R2D2 and C-3PO. While I had hoped to remove them from all the films completely that turned out to not be possible. I even attempted to re-color them so that they’d appear like different droids but, again, not possible. In the end I cut them as much as possible and never had them addressed by name. My hope was that by doing this it would appear they were just droids and nothing more.

As with his edit of TPM, Q2's take on episode 2 is a mixed bag of changes I both liked and didn't like resulting again in a version better than the theatrical cut, but not as good as L8wrtr or HAL9000's edits.

While some believe Attack of the Clones to be even worse than Phantom Menace for me it was a slight improvement. that being said it was still a bad film but that's were faneditors come to the rescue. Part 2 of Q2 stars wars edit removes a lot of what was bad from the film giving us a more enjoyable experience overall. i really liked have artoo and C3-PO were cut from the final act of the film, however i do feel it's a shame that so much of them has been cut in this trilogy as for me the prequels showcased their journey throughout all these events.

i felt the first edit was to short and overall felt a little choppy, this edit with it's 90min runtime (not including credits) feels a lot better and doesn't feel like it's in a rush to get to the end. it's a shame so much has to be removed in order to deliver a more watch-able star wars film.

i do wish anakins confession to padame regarding the slaughter of the sand people could be removed as i find it a little out of character for her to marry a mass murder. the end fight didn't work for me either, having dooku seemingly run away because padame and a few clone troopers arrive makes him look weak plus he has the two jedi were he wants them.

as with the first episode Q2 take on the trilogy is a more pleasing experience and one that i will re-watch when the time comes
