Q2 has done a stellar job and capped off his edit of the prequel trilogy wonderfully. Thanks to his edits I can quite happily sit and watch the PT now without feeling I'm grinding my way through something just to get to something better! Thanks!

This is the first edit I've picked up in awhile. I enjoyed watching it as an Episode III edit, though personally I've still yet to find an edit that makes me like Episode III.

Editing out droid-speak is pretty standard and does wonders for the film. Not seeing C3P0 and R2D2 is a change I've always supported to the entire prequel trilogy. I really enjoyed introducing Padme in the bedroom scene rather than at the launchpad. It puts her pregnancy already within Anakin's knowledge. All the other trimmings were welcome. I like any edit that can pare down the dialogue of a film and let the action lead.

Every now and then I found a cut awkward, but when I could understand the intention I found myself able to accept it in the flow of things (sometimes I couldn't understand the intention). The overall flow worked very well except for some rare awkward audio transitions. The only awkward visual moments came when the end of a scene had been edited down and an optical wipe nearly cut someone off mid-sentence. I found Jimmy Smits transition from the Jedi Temple to the Tantive a bit awkward--it could have been spaced out with a later scene.

The OT continuity premise to these edits is something hard for me to get my head around. I'm somebody who thinks "4-6,1-3" not "1-6" but the approach is a great idea and an important one. For Episode III I feel this approach loses some striking imagery like the Emperor's rescue of Anakin and Anakin's surgery. At the same time it cuts things like the awkward "I dub thee, Vader" crap, "Noooo...", and others. I'm still not sure why Padme needs to be alive. But it was pretty seamless besides "The Other Bolyen Girl"'s source needing the contrast raised.

That's everything I had to say. I liked watching it and I think others who watch will enjoy it. Thank you for sharing.

final part in Q2 fanedit version of the star wars prequels and while episode 3 was a huge improvement as always there's things that need to be cut. as with the previous two edits part 3 is again nicely edited. there are more noticeable cuts but nothing that spoilt my viewing experience.

in this edit i do wish some things hadn't been cut out. i'm not sure how to view C3-PO in this trilogy i mean is he C3-PO from part 2 or was that droid different? in this episode is it C3-PO from 4-6? with cutting dialogue and the memory erase i'm some what confused as to how i'm supposed to view this driod. i think it's a shame that so much of them have been cut from this trilogy, while i understand the removal of artoo flying and anakin creating C3-PO these two characters represent the heart and soul of the franchise.

in the original trilogy it plays out that C3-PO believes he knows it all while it's artoo that is always one set ahead knowing and experiencing what he has in the prequels. i think having them a little more involved in this episode would have been better when going into episode 4.

i didn't miss the empire / yoda fight that was nicely done though i do think these trilogy edits suffer from their endings. with removing darth vader i feel your removing what the prequels were about. it's a different approach from other star wars edits and it may be best suited if your planning on watching all six films in row.

Okay, this edit is great. The first thing you have to understand going in to this is that Q2 enjoys certain things and hates certain things which you may not agree with. The visual and Audio editing is perfect but there's one big problem, Q2 likes the pace and development of the original movie. In episode 1, he made it into a fast little action packed flick which was quite fun but here it's sloooooow. He cuts down tons of dialogue but ALSO cuts down battles and friendly banter and also any form of comedic relief, I completely understand removing the battle droids' voices but there has to be something there (3P0 and R2) to calm the audience down or to get the audience excited. This leaves a movie with a lot of dialogue for no reason and very little action in comparison. His edit does the same thing as the original but takes out cringe-worthy lines and some silly action. So if you enjoy revenge of the sith already, you will love this edit, if you hate almost everything about revenge of the sith, you will also hate this.
