Fall of the Jedi: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith

I love this one so much. Episode 3 is always my favourite, but there is still a lot in it that I don't like. this removes all of that fluff and streamlines it into a cohesive story. I like the reshuffles of various scenes too, it makes more sense this way.

Watched this one yesterday evening, and as with the rest of the "Fall of the Jedi" Trilogy, editing is top-notch from all point of views. The feel of the story is heavily improved through the deletion of comedic and distracting elements. Also the Plot was even changed a bit in places where i didnt expect it.
All the editing is invisible (for me at least) and all the choices are really good ones.
As with th other two parts of this trilogy, this edit changes a movie i can only watch on a shallow entertaining level into a Movie i can take serious as a Star Wars movie.

Simply amazing. This truly takes the movie up to another level. I loved the new creative ending and the removal of many stupid and irritating scenes.

I would have cut the young child jedi dialogue, but otherwise I take my hat of to Q2, this is an ingenious edit.

SPOILER: The scene in the end with Padmé and the baby unfortunately has bad contrast, but thats the only complaint on video quality.

Further more, the ending is somewhat abrupt, but what can you do with the original material? I prefer this before the theatrical release.

Dear Q2, this work is magnificent.

I have watched your edit twice now, and I think it is the best Episode III edit that exists. Removing the droids, toning up the overall movie experience, and especially preserving the continuity of the saga, and the mystery in it, has for me rescued this movie.

I however still feel that the scene when Palpatine manages to throw Anakin into the Dark side is a tad weak… I would suggest, if you allow me to, to remove this seconds from this edit:

- Just cut from 56:39 to 56:45. Anakin’s feelings are better shown that way, I believe…

Before that, one minor change:

- Cut from 55:05 to 55:11. I think the movie gives a better experience in this scene, if we feel Mace Windu was going to kill Palpatine from the beginning.

And I would have kept the sentence of Obi Wan saying that he saw the hologram of Anakin killing younglings… I know its bad acting, bad dialogue, but it does not ruin the movie, and the cut you made is the only one in the movie that I feel looks not good.

Please don’t let this tiny suggestions make you feel I am criticizing your work… what I said is true, your work has resurrected this movie for me.

I am now going to revisit your edits of Fall of the Jedi I and II.
