Hands down one of the best edits on this website. It doesn't even feel like a movie anymore, it feels original and different. 10/10

Great work! I really enjoyed The Batman, and this version even more. I feel like this movie was just asking to be cut into a mini-series, I actually did it myself, but mine was simply cut into 4 parts with no other editing and just reusing the same "THE BATMAN" intro logo each time. Needless to say, my version got trashed as soon as this version came out. The cuts and reordering of scenes were perfect. The new intros were perfect. Quality is great, this looks like it was released by the studio.

Such a great edit. Cutting this movie into a four part mini-series works really well and does a great deal to combat the pacing issues that I and from what I've seen, a few others had with the theatrical release. The video editing of this is really impressive too, it stays on par with the level of detail that Matt Reeves had put into The Batman whilst also providing a more cohesive and focused storyline. I was confused about the re-ordering of some scene's but in the end it works well and even compliments other scenes better than the theatrical did.
If I watch this movie again in the future it will be this edit.

There's is so much to love about The Batman's aesthetics and approach, but frankly, as we all know there was just too much of it all to find it enjoyable. The relentless tone broke me a couple of times and my partner too. So this was the way to experience it. It became something exciting that we both wanted to enjoy together and something to look forward to, rather than fear. Not having been able to wade through the original in its entirety means I'd rather not comment on any changes made. It's a fantastic piece of work and everyone should watch it. Christ, its made me pick up some of my old graphic novels. I would join other reviewers in saying the only negatives for me was the music with Alfred, which made that scene a bit overblown, but by that point, I was blown away anyway. Secondly, the cold openings sometimes were too long or because of the length of time between watching episodes (we have a one or two a week rule - like old school tv) I felt we were questioning where we were at. But many thanks, this was a great piece of work.

I personally consider "The Batman" to be the best big budget cinematic interpretation of the character so far, but that's not to say it isn't without its issues, the main one being its ponderous runtime and shifting, wandering narrative. I was anticipating some solid fanedits to pop up once the digital release came out and am very pleased to report that Don Kamillo's superb reworking is exactly what this film needed. The decision to split the film into a four part miniseries is ingenious and solves nearly all the issues with pacing and multiple storylines due to Kamillo's seamless editing, color tweaks, and deletions and additions. It's apparent he brought his A game to this project and the end result is a highly professional and supremely successful redo of the original film. Brilliantly done and highly recommended, this is to date the definitive version of this film. The closest thing I have to any sort of constructive criticism is the music used in the scene where Bruce visits Alfred in the hospital. Personally I think it works better with no music until the very end, but that's just me and it's a very small nitpick all things considered. Again, very solid and inventive fanedit and the one I'll be revisiting from now on.
