To echo Zarius' comments below, this cut is a valiant effort to make B&R into something watchable, however the excision of Alfred's health decline and some of the primitiveness of the editing techniques hinder the film, making the proceedings into something that doesn't even have the character depth of an episode of the Adam West Batman show (to which B&R is clearly attempting to pay homage).

But having pruned (because... Poison Ivy) the film's twenty-or-so plotlines gives the viewer a little bit better chance to focus on the best performance of the film, which is surprisingly... Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr. Freeze. Spared of the rapid-fire puns, his character actually has a fairly convincing arc and his mix of kabuki camp and grounded emotions wouldn't have been out of place in one of the earlier Burton-directed entries. (The same cannot be said of Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy, who is a Schumacher creation thru-and-thru. And the less said about Bat-Alicia, the better.)

A serviceable digest version of an overblown disaster, but there's a better edit of this film out there somewhere, waiting to be seen.

Well, actually, as some people have said, not the length of a movie, but not that of a series, so I should say that there already have, 3 points of 10

The Final impressed me, and really being mounted well actually, yes it would have been apt a sequel, just ... To clarify doubts. 8 Points.

The color should have been desaturated as BF: Red Book Edition, That I dislike, as it is still full of color. 1 Point

You had to use music from Danny Elfman for Ambiete since Goldenthal's music but apparently Batman music, seemed to be composed with electric guitar. But Prince used it and praised him, 1 point

Still FanEdit recommend this if you want to have at least would have been seen as having been "good", 8 points

I was never a big fans of any of the 80s/90s Batman movies, they just didn’t click with me. Purely based on the above reviews (I read them all pretty carefully), I decided to D/L this one.

I was how “more” watchable this movie is as a fanedit. NOT because of the edit, but because of the source material, I won’t watch it a second time. I definitely agree with Sunarep, this edit is like watching a TV episode; it’s a viewable edit – I just don’t think “editing” this movie will really improve this movie – it’s just not good.

Essentially good technical ability. 4/5 for me as well.

As much as I love Uma Thurman, let’s face it, in this movie she was asleep at the wheel. No matter how editing is done with htis, her performance will still be horrible – but so will Arnie’s. Yep, his acting is a typical Arnie act, horrible one-liners but no edit will really change his acting. (NOTE: I used to love Arnie movies – “Total Recall”, “Running Man” to name a couple – and years later, I find I just can’t get thru them anymore.

So, I can understand hw the more “Batman fanboy” woud like this movie, but it’s not for me.
