I'd say this is a really interesting way to view The Terminator, well worth viewing for fans of the series.

Likes:
-many of the cuts remove scenes/parts of scenes that don't add to the story and possibly detract from it
-removal of all scenes from the future provides a very unique viewing experience
-removal of title card explaining the film improves the experience
-color, lighting, and audio adjustments blend well and do not detract from the film at all
-shortening of mannequin scenes helps
-addition of deleted scene of microchip being found

Dislikes:
-removal of Reese's dream and falling asleep in the car entirely (elaborated below)
-removal of "it's a good field dressing" scene, "with these weapons?" scene, and all future scenes feels a bit heavy handed

Recommendations:
- Would like to see the eye surgery scene be replaced with the remastered #2 version by StoRyx K on Youtube (noticeable improvement) - LINK - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ky8F1Vzq0U8&t=72s
- Would like to see the ending chase scenes replaced with the remade blender animation by StoRyx K on Youtube (not perfect, but noticeable improvement) - LINK - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdevFNWh4to&t=6s
-Would like to see some scenes of the future returned (elaborated below)

This is an excellent and unique viewing experience well worth a watch. While I agree with the vast majority of the decisions made here, and feel they improve the film dramatically, not having any future scenes at all really detracted from the experience. The removal of all future scenes is understandable with the editor's goals, but I think having one at the very beginning of the film, and some small flashes during Reese being asleep would be ok. I think it would be possible to show some quick shots of say, the treads going over the skulls, then Reese waking up, without it being a full several minute endeavor. Removing them entirely along with the other cuts also makes the first film quite short. I have considered attempting to add some of the future scenes from later Terminator films that look better (for example, adding the ones from T2, then putting the one from T3 into T2 minus the bottle falling). All in all, though, it made for a very enjoyable and unique experience. Thank you for your hard work - on my way to review the raymix version of T2! :D

While there are many Terminator fan edits out there, this one is one of the better ones that exist. Ray Danger has a long history of making excellent fan edits and this is no exception. I'm impressed by the fact he removed the T-800 heads up display. Although it's a cool feature to see, it's a bit dated and isn't missed in this edit. I'm also in favor of his decision to remove the flash-forward scenes in the future. The trimming of the many scenes throughout the movie were well chosen and really tighten up the flow as well as the action of the movie. Although I enjoyed the addition some of the deleted scenes, I'm disappointed at the fact the low quality draws me out of the movie. THis is in no way a slam against the fan editor as this is something completely beyond their control. Overall, I'm satisfied with this fan edit and think it's a worthy addition to anyone's fan edit collection. It won't be my go to for watching this movie, but it's a great alternative, especially with this fan editor's Terminator 2 fan edit made to compliment it. Well done.

Ray takes an already very lean and mean thriller and makes it even tighter. Removing the future bits (and T-800 HUD) are seemingly small changes that give the film a completely different vibe (along with other changes throughout of course). Much more ground level, more enigmatic, possibly scarier. Not my preferred version but it makes for a fun alternate.

One thing is I'm not sure the small deleted bits add enough to justify such drastic drops in quality, but they do help switch things up even more. I almost wonder if the mindset here could be taken even further, showing things just from Sarah's perspective, but that would probably break the film and this makes for a nice compromise.

A fun, slightly different take on a classic.

Keeping the story in the present worked very well. It really changed the tone and was a very enjoyable watch. The deleted scenes were hit-and-miss though. Very well done, thank you!

I loved how you edited this to where none of the future was shown and none of the Terminator HUD was show and also none of the dates revealed the future and that kept the question of who are these guys…. I also liked the deleted scenes you chose to put in and I love how some of the music and sounds was enhanced….. there is one small thing I would advise editing in a Version 2 is when you make it to where when you have the Terminator HUD not shown and it was suppose to just show the Terminator in action and not the HUD to find a way to remove the sound of the HUD cuz it a small mistake but it also makes you wonder why that sound is there and no explanation but otherwise I liked the change of story telling
