The decision to turn the third Hunger Games book into two separate movies was obviously at least partly a financial decision but was it also a good artistic one? Jerick thinks not, so he’s taken the more than 4-hours of material and edited it down to a single focused narrative, to round off The Hunger Games saga in the action packed style in which it began. Jerick has removed a whopping 88 minutes (Which is longer than many movies!) and has made it available in full HD with a 5.1 soundtrack. The edit goes by the alternate title ‘The Hanging Tree’.
