Brief Synopsis:
I wanted to tell a beautiful story of first-love through the prism of time-travel, incorporating a musical finale and maintaining a highly condensed version of the original film's mirrored story structure.
Intention:
To condense the narrative to be about first-love and remove all other side-characters and subplots not needed for this. Including the love-triangle, the aunty, the painting and the other time-traveller.

I made many efforts to get this under 15 minutes but due to having to mirror every plot element (Before the change, the change, and reversing the change) it couldn't be done, plus I was unwilling to sacrifice the musical finale which runs for several minutes alone. So this is a failed entry for the consecution but hopefully an enjoyable edit none the less.

Part of the Time travel Consecution, this is a haunting, at times perplexing, love story.
I watched it three times, to get the feel of the story, because this is rather messy.
Other reviews have suggested this be even shorter, but that might prove a jumble.
This is tucked away on the DVD. Don’t overlook it. A small gem, worth your time.

Ok then I guess I completely forgot to review the bonus shorts on the Time Travel Consecution, the thing that I was in charge of. Ok cool.

This was a really enjoyable condensed version of an awesome animated movie. If it had been just a little bit shorter this would have been one of the Time Travel standouts.

This was a good edit, I highly enjoyed it.

I think it could have been trimmed an additional 5 minutes to get under 15.

Towards the mid-section where a lot of time travel happens, I was a little confused about what was happening - whether she had gone forward or backward (it was backward). It seemed like if she was going back to these particular events, they should have already appeared and be familiar? Maybe I'm wrong, maybe they did appear before hand.

As far as editing goes, I couldn't even tell it was edited. That's how smooth this is made. No is abrupt cuts, the audio is seamless, the quality seemed perfect.

Don't shrug this edit off, You'll enjoy yourself after it gets going. Highly recommended.
