Serenity Chronicles I: Firefly
Serenity Score CD
-After the war scene, I added in the deleted aftermath scene from the DVD
-Added music to the aftermath deleted scene
-We now fast forward a year to Mal showing Zoe the ship he just bought
-Title music is a brief clip of the theme from Serenity the movie
-We watch the crew come together from the scenes of Out of Gas
-Added music to Jayne deciding to join Mal
-Following Jayne joining the crew we fast forward to "Four Years After Unification"
-Cut Simon saying the group he got involved with rescued River since this contradicts the big scene of him breaking her out in Serenity the movie.
-Cut out all commercial fades
-Inserted deleted scene with Book checking up on River and Simon researching the Battle at Serenity Valley (Added music for both scenes)
-Added the Firefly theme song as played during the credits from Serenity the movie as an intro and then after Mal speaks the last lines of the pilot the theme song as sung in the show kicks in and we see a brief look at Serenity flying before cutting to credits.
Refreshing fanedit to summarize Firefly's first episodes; still preserving the feel of what made Firefly in the first place.
Great edit of a great show. Me and my family had the best time watching this. From all the browncoats I want to thank you!
This was a damn fine fanedit. I was never really a fan of "Firefly" and it took me a while to finally watch everything. But I do love the "Serenity" movie.
This is a fairly simple edit of the pilot episode, with some excellent deleted scenes added and a few trims. An excellent primer for anybody who's never watched "Firefly" and a fun way of revisiting the show for the hardcore fans.
Love what was done... A fresh taste of firefly.. Me and my son are watching them and both are really enjoying them. If one could Monday morning quarterback this series you would wonder if fox would have gave up on it so fast knowing the following that it has.. But i applaud the edit here, way to keep it alive... thanks again
A great edit, I only wish the trilogy lasted longer.
