So i was browsing for a good T2 SE edit when i saw this was the highest recommended one! I never knew i needed less cheese in this funny sci-fi action film. With the edits hes made to the already-preferred SE version, hes improved on it. I supposed i can live without the "i need a VEE-cay-shun" line. Removing Bad to the Bone (yes it's a lil to wink-wink at the audience, ill admit) and Hasta la Vista, Baby! will take getting used to (im glad he kept the majority of T-101 being Johns "dad" though, thats the heart of the movie imo) but i do love the inclusion of the T-1000 in John's room and dont mind trimming the Kyle Reese scene or "destroying the CPU" bit in the garage, which is criminal Cameron didn't keep that in the Theatrical. Will this replace the SE as my go-to version? I'm thinking so!

This is my definite go to for any T2 edits. I hate many of the silly parts of T2, as it takes away from what is supposed to be a dramatic movie. Thankfully this exists and I don't need to edit my own version :)

Took one of my favourite movies ever and made it last longer!

Some bold removals of classic lines (onc action I noticed) that result in a more well rounded Terminator character. Really highlighting the tragedy of the single mother's son. Seeking affection in a programmed and tunnel-visioned cybernetic organism from a doomed future. Truly sad!!

I watched this shortly after seeing 'The Hunt for Sarah Connor' and must say it added to its sequel no end. Watch that one. Then watch this one. Brilliant!

By far the best T2 edit I've seen, ThrowgnCpr does a great job of adding the best parts of the special edition and takes some of the lesser parts of the theatrical cut and combines them to make the best version possible. By removing unnecessary parts and cringe worthy portions made it a much better film and one of the most impressive parts of the edit is the removal of the bad to bone audio and what it is replaced with makes it a throwback to the original movie. One last thing that impressed me was the intro and how awesome and authentic it looked using the liquid metal, so overall this movie has just been turned from a good movie in my opinion as I have always like it but now it's an even better movie and my go to version from now on.

The theatrical cut has always been my favourite version of T2 but this adds the best parts of the special edition and takes some of the lesser parts of the theatrical cut to forge a great new version. The most impressive part of the edit is the removal of the bad to bone audio which never ever fit well with the tone elsewhere. I've attempted to seperate some of the original dialogue in this scene myself and found it an impossible task to extract something of a high enough quality so massive repsect to the editor on his work here! The recreated titles and THX FAN intro are brilliantly done too and look completely authentic.

The only nitpick I can find in the whole edit which is just a personal opinion is the inclusion of the smile scene (albeit trimmed) I would have cut that being as the 'trust me' line was cut later. A really fab edit of what is easily one of my top 5 movies ever, it has created a bit of a quandry though as everytime I watch T2 now which is at least twice a year I will have to consider this or the theatrical. That was never an issue before darn it!!
