WOW!!! This is an almost perfect edit of this film! Yes there are some unfinished scenes added in, but most of them are amazing and IMHO should have been in the final film. They don't add that much time, but the fight in Aunt May's house was SO much better!!! There was a echo in the scene at the Spider-man dedication dinner near the end, where SM is stalking to MJ and there is an echo in his voice that was strange. There was a deleted scene that I think should not have been added in, because it really didn't work well in the film and editors of the theatrical release were smart to leave out. It is the extra few seconds added to scene where fat Peter is taking the goober from Miles and tells him he doesn't have to be Spider-Man anymore. I don't like that one in the film personally. I think Peter wouldn't have said that, because he only wanted to protect Miles because he wasn't fully ready yet, and it was that moment where he is left behind, that is the proverbial push off the ledge Miles needed to become Spider-Man.
This won't replace the original for me, but I'm very glad to have watched it and to have viewed the additional fight sequences in May's home. That was just cool and I wish they had finished it and put it in the movie.

(Watched on iPad (7th Gen) with Apple Earphones)

Audio/Video Quality (8/10) - Video Quality was great, looked like it came exactly from the Blu-ray. The same with the deleted scenes. I have issues with the audio through. In some movie scenes (especially when Peter B. Parker talks with Mary Jane), I noticed an audio echo in my speakers. I also noticed that the audio particularly focused on the right speaker throughout the whole movie.

Visual Editing (10/10) -The deleted scenes were edited flawlessly and fit perfectly in the movie.

Audio Editing (10/10) - The audio was seamless, and I didn't hear any rough/abrupt cuts between deleted scenes.

Narrative (9/10) - As I said before, the deleted scenes fit perfectly within the movie, and do not majorly damage the movie pace at all. The deleted scenes should honestly be officially in the movie, as they contain essential character development. Especially that deleted scene when B. Parker comforts Miles after the spidermen shame him at Aunt May's house, I was wondering why B. Parker didn't immediately go talk to Miles after he left in the movie as he's basically Miles's mentor. So yeah, that deleted scene really fixed that part of the movie I disliked.

This might be a minor nitpick, but I kinda wish the "How do I know I'm ready?" exchange in Miles' room wasn't fully replaced and the "Now, you don't have to be Spider-Man." was added after B. Parker's leap of faith speech. I believe one major theme of this movie was "don't overthink, just do it", so keeping that leap of faith speech would have greatly provided importance to that theme. There are other scenes however that also show the theme, so I get why it was replaced as we have other scenes for it.

Enjoyment (9/10) - Other than the audio echo issues and being open-minded with the unfinished animation, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie edit and wished this was the actual movie (aside from the finished animation, fixed audio, and my edit feedback of course).

To summarize my review, what a great edit to add to a film masterpiece and it makes it even better. It has its problems of course with the audio issues, but makes up with the skilled editing and its handpicked deleted scenes that perfectly fit in the film. In my opinion, it should have been in the original movie.

I recommend this fan edit to people who want more story and character development in this masterpiece, along with being open-minded with the unfinished animation inside the deleted scenes.

Thank you for making this fan edit!

(FYI if you want to mostly fix the audio focused on the right speaker. Turn on Mono Audio. For mobile, you can search "mono audio" in your device settings and there should be a toggle to turn on. For PC, you can search for it also on your computer search bar I believe.)

I have not seen the Alt Universe Cut of ITSV, so I had some uninformed expectations going into this, thinking the scenes chosen were complete but cut. The first extended scene snapped me from that disillusionment, but did not break enjoyment of an already excellent film! Not all the added scenes provide a richer narrative, but the handful which do--billboard chat, Liv's motivations--are superb. It's criminal the extended fight scene at Aunt May's was left on the cutting room floor! The deleted and extended scenes were woven flawlessly into the movie, and the audio balancing was flawless.

I recommend this version to anyone who is a fan of the theatrical version! Though maybe not to a first time viewer who may be thrown off by the storyboard and unfinished CGI scenes.
