Spider-Man 2.2

To echo what those below have said: this is the definitive version of the best pre-MCU Spidey movie. While Molina's Doc Ock is the scene-stealer of the movie, watching JJJ leap around his office cosplaying in red-and-blue spandex will never get old.

The original SM2 is one of the best marvel-films still, and seen it so many times at home as a kid (14 yo). not seen it for a while and I can't really compare it with this cut yet! But of what I remember, this cut makes it better in every way!
The go to version of course!

This is the definitive version of Spider-Man 2. The edits are seamless and restore better takes from the theatrical release to Spider-Man 2.1. This is the way to go when watching this movie.

Spider-Man 2 is already my most favourite movie of all time and Bobson finds a way to make it even more superior. The added materials were seamlessly done and will forever be my go to version.

With Spider-man 2.2 Bobson takes an already superior cut of a film but restores the little from the theatrical cut that wasn't broken to begin with, which for most is the shorter exchange in the elevator. When watching the retail copy, I used to have to decide which version I was in the mood for. This cut eliminates that need.

If I have one minor detail I don't like from 2.1 it's the sequence in the train fight where Spider-man gets hit by a train travelling in the opposite direction, he just shrugs it off and continues swinging, that part always seemed a bit too cartoony for me, but I don't see any other complaints, and maybe I shouldn't be looking for plausibility in a film that during many other moments doesn't obey the rules of physics either.

Anyway as I said, this is the perfect compromise between the two cuts so if you are a fan of the Raimi trilogy, it's a must have for your collection.
