Brief Synopsis:
The life and adventures of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp as he navigates the challenges of the American frontier and becomes an iconic figure in the history of the Wild West.

The official Special Expanded Edition of the film was only ever released on VHS and Laserdisc, running over 3 and a half hours, so this edit aims to take all those exclusive scenes and create a nice, new, clean version of that cut.

22 new deleted and extended scenes have been reintegrated into the film, with over 20 minutes of new footage, painting a more detailed picture of the myth that was Wyatt Earp.
Smoker1 asked me to do this edit, and I thought it sounded interesting, so I decided to work on it. Pretty simple story.
Other Sources:
- Wyatt Earp Blu-Ray: The main film came from here, and used as the base of the edit
- Lifted Scenes: Some of the laserdisc footage was put on the Blu-Ray, but not all, so I managed to use what I could from here
- Special Expanded Edition Laserdisc: Most of the new material came from here, and a lot of the audio too, all matched to the Blu-Ray
Special Thanks:
Smoker1 for asking me to do this edit, and providing the laserdisc to use for the cut
willarob for taking Smoker1's laserdisc and capturing it so I could use it for this edit

Editing Details:
I lined the laserdisc up to the theatrical blu-ray, and found every instance of new and extended footage, and then colour graded it all to match.
I tried to use as much of the deleted scenes from the Blu-Ray, but much of the footage still comes from the laserdisc.

I did not upscale the new footage as I do with many of my edits, but the results just came out looking far worse, so I opted to leave them as is. They still look good, but there is a noticable drop off. I reccommend this for big Wyatt Earp fans only!

MUCH better Copy of this. The Expanded Version was only ever released on LaserDisc and VHS. You would think they would put out the Rare Versions of Movies like this, but I guess in the end, it is up to good Editors to make it happen.
The LD and VHS portions are inserted and improved as much as possible, while the Main from the BR is perfect. Amazing work is done for this Classic.
