Review Detail

I should note that this edit was viewed without having seen the original. However, after reading the changelist I much better appreciate the positive impact it had on the viewing experience. While the introduction to bane was a great start to the film, it definitely was a movie which found it's footing in the 2nd and 3rd acts. Many of the scenes, notably the bank heist, felt extremely tight and intentional without being too rushed with pacing. The work put into making the bane as the child who escaped also worked for me as a first time viewer, as the reveal was a nice surprise.

The only criticism I remember were a couple edits where the audio was noticeably cut, and did take me out of the film in those moments.

Overall, I feel the edit did a great job of helping to focus and highlight the best that the film had to offer.
