Review Detail

It's remarkable that ArtisDead was able to cut 2/3 out of this movie yet it still feel like a complete narrative, with all the style and feel of the original. At no point did I find myself missing the original or bemoaning missing scenes (and I love the original), he manages to keep all of the essence of the move while removing any fluff. One or two scenes/dialogue felt a bit rushed but honestly thats better than I would expected given the amount cut. The only scene that felt a bit jarring was the Chris Waltz flashback, but I don’t think it could have been handled in any other way. My only real issue was the Bowie soundtrack, I love Bowie, I love this movie, but somehow I don't think they mesh so well, and playing the songs over some of the dialogue I felt ditracted from certain scenes, but honestly thats a pretty small nitpick considering. Overall this quite the feat, and an enjoyable take on a great movie.
