Brief Synopsis:
To create ten 60 mins Episodes from Quentin Tarantino's 10 films to date.
Intention:
The challenge in these edits is that the movie must be condensed into a hour long "episode". The upside is that it can be done as the editor of the episode pleases.
Pulp Fiction basicly consists of three narratives, which I at first tried to keep as a whole. Though that could maybe have been possible, ArtisDead had a better and more streamlined suggestion, keep one narrative.
I choose Butch's story, because in my expierence when people reference Pulp Fiction, they mostly reference Vincent and Jules. And so I wanted to highlight Butch's story, and also because it has a rather satifying ending in my opinion.

Cuts and Additions:
removed everything not directly connected to Butch.
restructered the different scenes a bit. Removing all the other scenes actually de-Tarantino'ed the movie a bit, so I tried to return some of that Pulp Fiction flavored chronologicy.
added custom acts, title cards and custom closing credits.
replaced the soundtrack under the bar scene between Marsellus and Butch with a new track.
moved the original bar scene track to Butch and Fabienne on the bed.
re-insterted some tracks that got lost on the cutting room floor by isolating Butch's story.
there's one track when Butch walks back home and one under the end credits.
removed Fabienne walking down the stairs to Butch on the chopper.
fixed a few audio problems present in the original soundtrack.

What can I say? This edit is just fantastic, I'll start there.
I like Pulp Fiction, but I haven't seen it in many years. And after seeing this edit, I may never watch it again. I liked the original, but I love this. The Butch (Bruce Willis) storyline was always my favorite and seeing it and it alone, just perfection.
Great Work!

I loved it. Always wanted to see this film from one single perspective, but still out of order. Really well done. Much love to the editor here. RedAppleCrew is amazing.

Another near perfect Tarantino Tales edit! I think theomega followed one story thread through his version.
It worked perfectly and seemed like it was released in this manner.
Awesome work!

Focusing the story down on Butch and Marcellus was a great move! It made me realize exactly how much the plot was driven by Butch specifically.
While the original movie has a lot of fun side plots that go nowhere (most of them centered around Vincent Vega), here the entirety of all the side plots boils down to "Vincent talks to Butch and then dies in the bathroom," for a total of 1min of screen time. Mia is almost completely removed except for a quick hello. It's a genius cut, and it makes the hour fly by.
This is in my Top 3 Tarantino Tales, along with Reservoir Dogs and Death Proof, and well deserved!
