This is the best edit I've seen so far of EP I. I absolutely recommend it =). You were able to bring out the best of all the other edits (my congrats to the other editors, which I esteem and like their works as well).

Notes:
- The senate audition should have remained untouched because the original is very good, more formal and bureaucratic, further demonstrating the corruption and stalling of the senate's bureaucrats and would avoid that in one frame we see Mas Amedda and Sei Taria seated and suddenly in the next frame Amidala appears (too fast) and they are on their feet.
- You should have left Amidala's confrontation with Nute Gunray untouched. When we see them again Amidala and their soldiers suddenly defeated the droids. It was trimmed too much, I think.

The rest is perfect. Unless Adywan comes up with something better, this will be my "how it should be" version of EP I. =)
Good work friend =).

This is *the* Phantom Menace edit. The cutlist says it all. Octorox carefully thought about the best ideas from the most notable Phantom edits over the years and combined them all into one neat package. I personally miss the Gungan City scene for adding some visual flare (despite it serving no real plot purpose) alongside the exterior shot of the exploding transport ship during the opening, but flawless otherwise. Highly recommended

Faster, more intense and possibly the best version of TPM out there. This is the fourth edit of TPM I've see and out of the four, this felt the least like a fanedit. Despite a quarter of the film being cut, the pacing throughout is excellent, especially in the first act, where the other three edits felt off. My only qualm with this edit was the end. After seeing l8wrtr's edit end on Palpatine at Qui-Gon's funeral, I simply can't abide by the Naboo celebration ending the film. A great start to the trilogy.

...well, I think I must echo the various praise this edit has received. Takes some of the best ideas from the various other editors over the years and combines with a few new ones, and seamlessly. An excellent cut of the film: keeps its strengths, trims its weaknesses. Very very good. This is easily in the top three cuts of Episode I that I've seen (7 of them so far).

My enjoyment score is personal and of a nitpicky nature; you can't go wrong with this one.

This is a great edit! All that needs to be there (to make a decent, cohesive movie) is there. All of the fat has been trimmed. The movie no longer taps the brakes any more, now it fearlessly moves forward. Sure, Jar Jar's still there, but he doesn't annoy the viewer (nearly as much anyway, I still hate having to look at him). I have to say, the editor made some wise decisions.
Highly recommended. Very good work!
