I have not been a starwars movie fan in some time. I have not like much of the direction disney has taken the franchise, BUT Im certainly glad that there is money being spent to keep it alive. I can see that DonKamillo has put a LOT of blood sweat and tears into making a movie full of plot holes and stupid character development, into something cohesive and more to the point. Hey he can only work with the prints available, so we can fault him for some scenes that don't make sense no matter what. It didn't make sense before, and it less annoying than the original. So I have to say KUDDOS to DonKamillo for giving us another version to love star wars again.

thanks from those of use who want to love star wars again!

Before I only wished to forget this move, but this edit really nails the spot. All the idiocy from the original is removed. The plot is now gripping and tight. A forgettable movie became a great one. Kudos to DonKamillo!

The only scene which didn't make sense was when the rebels were rushing the cannon. Poe eventually calls off the attack, but Finn decides to press on. The next scene the giant door has been destroyed and all the rebels are in the cave, Finn included. I'm not sure what happened there vs the original, since the latter isn't that fresh in my mind, but it looks odd.

Thanks for the review ricerom!

To clarify:
In the original Poe calls off the attack but Finn does not listen and decides to sacrifice himself. In my edit he listens even though he's not happy with Poe's decision. He shakes his head in defiance but we still see everybody turning around to fly back so we can assume that Finn did the same.

This was fantastic. I could never watch the original again, it's go so much rubbish in it, this edit is so much more streamlined and feels like a fine movie. thanks you DonKamillo!

I enjoy the Last Jedi however some scenes just don't do it for me, we all know the scenes I'm referring to: Canto Bight, Leia Poppins, Luke contemplating the murder of his nephew etc.
I'm happy to say this edit removes all that but does it in a smooth way, it isn't distracting and take you out of the movie, it flows very naturally.
Really enjoyed this edit and would recommend.

This is probably the definitive Last Jedi fanedit that there is. The decisions made by Don here are for the betterment of the movie, they really flush out the more perplexing creative and comedic dead-ends and make it appear as if Rian Johnson knew what he was doing the whole time. The new definitive cut's ending also leads superbly into the follow-up movie. I can't really fault this one, it's just pure magic. Industrial light and magic. Watch as soon as you can
