Before, I should say that I really liked the original TFA and TLJ (minus the casino part) and I have not watched DonKamillo's TLJ.
But I knew the endings of his TLJ edit going in. Luke's and Leia's story was transfered from Don's TLJ, which had choices I do not agree with (personal preference). And lukes ghost effect is hard to undo I guess...
I don't think the narrative is on top. I guess that if you cut away that much it feels empty and forced, or abrubt, in some places. Some cuts even made it wierd. (Lukes ghost, Kylo's non-crash, and several specai effects).

That said,
This edit is beautiful and fun! The cuts are seamless and the quality is great. Almost all the cringe and unnecsessary plot are gone. That makes this a fun, fast-paced adventure. It is really worth watching! It is amazing how much crap it is in the original that we did not need.

Once again... 'All Hail The Don' !
You've actually outdone your work on TLJ-ACC [I haven't seen the Definitive Version yet - it'll happen soon tho!]
I can think of no higher praise for this than to say [with utmost respect to you, DK] you have actually succeeded in polishing a turd!
I'll be honest, I thought The Theatrical Release was rubbish with practically no redeeming factors - overblown, 'tie-off-as-many-loose-ends-as possible', no 'feel', nothing! It even made some decent actors [Oscar Issac - I'm looking at you, kid!] seem 3rd rate.
This IS the definitive version of TROS - don't waste time looking back and comparing, just dive in and wallow in the really great pacing that DK has achieved.
Excellent - loved it!

I enjoy DonKamillo's anti-cringe of "Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker". It is better now... but I personally think Ep. 9 is mostly garbage in the first half and I hate the film overall. There's just something about Abrams directing of it that bores me to tears.

(Spoiler) I particularly enjoy how the death of Kylo is handled in this cut. I feel from this point on many parts of Ep. 9 including the epic last battle can be salvaged. I think one can take the core masterpiece that was DonKamillo's "Star Wars: The Last Jedi: The Anti Cringe Cut" and wrap parts of Ep. 7 and Ep. 9 around that and turn the sequel trilogy into 2 movies or even 1 epic movie. I've seen attempts made on the Prequel trilogy doing this same type of thing with good results. I like the idea of the original trilogy being the only trilogy in the star wars saga and everything else just side stories. Just my two cents.

Wow, I didn't think Episode 9 was salvageable - but this edit proved me wrong.
DonKamillo's edit is a great improvement over the Theatrical Cut, and fixes many, many cringe-worthy elements of the sequel trilogy and specifically Ep.IX. I cannot watch the TCs anymore, and will definitely keep the ACCs. The new narrative makes a lot more sense - The cuts and trims really streamlined it - but still suffers because of the poor source materials...
All in all - a highly recommended version, especially if you've given up hope on the Skywalker Saga.

I really enjoyed this over the original. This is what I consider my favorite changes:

The whole scene with Kylo and the Emperor (moved to my Definitive ACC of TLJ). (This was awesome and really completed the ACC of TLJ).
Luke is still alive (much better way to end this character)
Wayfinder be gone (Stupid! Glad this is gone)
Lando is introduced much later (This made his introduction so much cooler)
Kylo dies on the Death Star (Much better way to redeem/kill his character)
Rey does not die after her battle with the Emperor

Nice touches:
Light-speed skipping cut
The Emperor's broadcast is heard at the beginning of the movie
There's no force healing
No magic coin to get into Star Destroyers (sooooo dumb)
There's no hidden mechanism in the dagger (glad this is gone)
Rey has not magically learned how to steer skimmers through storms (I enjoyed this entire part of the move from the time they land to the time Rey leaves, including all characters and death of Kylo)
Instead of Leia calling out to Kylo on the Death Star, Luke is
There's no ground invasion (aka horses on a space ship) in the battle of Exagol (This was stupid)

Things that I felt empty on:
Hux goes away (I wanted his character to have closure, but I don't think there was much material to work with here)
Knights of Ren (Small loose end)

Things that I was okay with, but could use some improvements:
The transparent look of Luke :(

Overall this cut along with the DACC of TLJ are really good. I enjoy watching these now.
