ebumms came very close to creating my ideal version of episode 1 (within the possibilities from what's available). the goals of the edit were achieved magnificently without a single blemish. my only disappointment was not removing the midichlorians, but i was thrilled that the big finale was left almost untouched with only a handful of minor trims as i personally love the way that sequence is put together (especially the music) in spite of some remaining silliness from the usual offenders. currently i would tie this with hal9000's edit as my favorite edits of episode 1 i've yet seen. the perfect edit for anyone wanting episode 1 with just a little less "pee-ewsa" binks!
