An awesome edit of a flawed movie. The Alien franchise is to me what Star Wars is to so many others and when the theatrical edition of Prometheus was released, it made no sense! It was a part of the same universe but the intelligence and reason was gone. This edit doesn't resolve all of the issues because the footage doesn't exist to do so, but it fixes around 80% of what was wrong. Why was Guy Pierce made up as an old guy when they could've hired an old guy? Why would they run in the path of the falling ship? Why are Fifield and Millburn so eager to pet the hammerhead worm thing? Why would Fifield look like a mutant zombie?
All theses questions are answered. Unfortunately the alien still doesn't burst out of the Space Jockeys' chest whilst in the chair and nor is it set on LV426. The colour correction, sound editing and integrated special effects are phenomenal. A must watch for any Alien Saga fan.
