i am a fan of the grindhouse genre The film is an homage to the exploitation films of the 1970s, featuring over-the-top violence, cheesy dialogue, and a plot that is as ridiculous as it is entertaining.

The movie follows the story of Machete (Danny Trejo), a former Mexican Federale who is hired by a corrupt politician to assassinate a senator who is against illegal immigration. However, Machete is double-crossed and left for dead, prompting him to seek revenge on those who wronged him. Along the way, he teams up with a group of activists fighting for immigrant rights, including the feisty Luz (Michelle Rodriguez), and Sartana (Jessica Alba), a U.S. immigration officer who is sympathetic to Machete's cause.

The film is filled with over-the-top action scenes, including Machete using his titular weapon to cut through various enemies, and a ridiculous sequence involving a man with a machine gun attached to his crotch. The violence is often gruesome, but the film never takes itself too seriously, and the humor helps to balance out the brutality.

The performances in the film are solid, with Danny Trejo in particular standing out as the gruff but likable Machete. Michelle Rodriguez and Jessica Alba also do a good job with their roles, and Robert De Niro brings a certain level of gravitas to his villainous character.

Overall, "Machete" is an entertaining, if somewhat mindless, action film that is sure to please fans of the genre. The film is not for everyone, and those who are easily offended by violence or crude humor should probably steer clear. However, if you're looking for a fun, over-the-top action movie with a political twist, "Machete" is definitely worth checking out.
the edits that the fan editor added to the genre with more violence and nudity and almost made it even more of a deeper story
i had to go back and read what movies he utilized to make this masterpiece expecially the stephen segal scenes , i have said it befor and i will say it again the edits that this guy does are like owing the directors cut of a classic film that fixes plot holes and overall makes them more enjoyable .... another classic
to be clear
i was explaining the premis of the movie as it is a more unknown movie that more people should be framilliarizd with , i thought a summery of the original and what the edit added would draw people who never heard of the film sorry if my review was not good or as expected i had good intentions
