Simply fantastic. Great cocept and one of the best compilation edits I've seen. And I very much liked the use of the Beach Boys music. It gave lovecraft actually a weired tone of it's own and bound the 3 movies together somehow.

"God Only Knows" how Job Willins worked out how to combine these three films?!
He has taken three mediocre films and turned it into a must watch experience. I have a soft spot for Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness, but the others aren't at all interesting. The brilliance in combining all three narratives and combining a lot of the monster mayhem with Beach Boys cannot be overstated. This is one of those fanedits where my expectations were very low and I was staggered at how entertaining the final product turned out.

This was much fun. Really cool. The cut made three crappy, boring movies into something much more than the sum of their parts. The best possible way to watch three different movies at once. I wish there were more edits like this floating around.

Wow.

A very interesting take on 3 very different monster movies. You've made each film flow smoothly into the next, with each them reaching a climax together. I did remove one star for audio editing, due to what I feel was overusing the Beach Boys music. Otherwise, I did enjoy this edit as a late night monster flick.

I keep forgetting to leave a review of this one, even though I've seen it quite a few times now. Overall I really enjoy it!

There are admittedly some places where the three segments don't really blend as well (the main one that comes to mind is how they're all filmed - it's a bit jarring to go from In the Mouth of Madness to the Mist's occasionally handheld camera work. However, you get used to it as the film goes on.

The use of the Beach Boys' music is honestly the most inspired aspect of this. It helps make the whole thing feel more cohesive, and the songs themselves are well-picked and well-placed, whether it's used for the sake of irony ("Don't Worry Baby"), dark comedy ("Sloop John B") or even in places where the song is in line with the tone ("'Til I Die" and "God Only Knows").

Overall, I highly recommend this. It's an odd concept executed exceptionally well.
