Reducing the number of times we see Sauron's floating eye is a good idea.
Also, Gimli is improved, we don’t need all the jokes being about him.

The highlight of the edit is the inclusion of the Smeagol backstory, cut from the third film. It’s a great place for it, and it helps to reduce the runtime of Return of the King.

Cutting Aragorn's separation implied cutting the warg attack, and that was a mistake in my opinion. Too much of the story is lost.

The main issue here was the stated objective of removing all the elves from the Hornburg. I get the intention, but during the entire battle I can see dozens of elves, they are so many there’s no way of cutting them without removing the entire battle. This creates dozens of continuity errors, where I see elves all the time fighting, with no explanation of how they got there in the first place.
The intention was to fix a (slight to moderate) mistake, the solution created dozens of continuity errors, it just does not work.

My other gripe is the visual quality, the lower resolution and low bit rate are really noticeable in some sections.
