I think this might be my new definitive edition of Halloween.

The added scenes really nicely temper the pacing of the original, and the quality is very good - I certainly didn't notice any obvious shifts between the TV scenes and the original. The editing is seamless, and it's great to have a new edition of Halloween that really adds to the material.

Even though I watched this edit as my first viewing of Halloween, it is safe to say it will stay my definitive version. The added scenes flow seamlessly and perfectly transition into the second film.

I compared this side-by-side with my Anchor Bay DVD of the TV version and this edit is a massive improvement. The change in quality from theatrical to TV scenes is noticeable, but not jarringly so. A no-brainer upgrade since I watch this version every October.
