Another day, another fun tv-to-film edit of BionicBob. Here 3 episodes of 40 min are edited into a film of just under 2h. Again, t's seamless. You never feel like anything is missing even though about 25 minutes throughout the 3 episodes were jettisoned. If you like the Arrowverse or superhero action, but are somewhat exasperated by the over-reliance of soap opear antics by the CW shows, Bob keeps only what matters and makes it all flows.

Thumbs up, can't wait for him to finish the whole Crisis saga.

Leave the soap opera at home. it is time to get serious and find out if our heroes are worthy. Bionic Bob has once again knocked it out of the park with this one. DC should hire Bob to run all their tv shows because he could save them all by making them closer resemble the comic story arcs. Now to wait with baited breath to see if our heros stop the coming crisis in crisis

Let me start by saying that no matter what Earth you are on, this edit is always going to be a solid 10. These crossover edits of Bob’s are what we were hoping for in a theatrical release of DC’s Trinity, but the CW Trinity is the perfect stand in for them. When you take a step back from all of the melodrama and filler that pads out the shows, you really get something special.

I know what comes next for our heroes and this movie gives us one last fun hurrah before the Crisis changes everything. The flow from episode to episode works very well as a three act adventure and the special appearances by other heroes works very fluidly and never feels like “oh this must be the Supergirl portion” or “we must be clearly watching an Arrow episode”. The addition of The Boys are Back in Town for the bar was great and connected the whole scene wonderfully.

So, if I HAD to give any sort of criticism (besides a hurry up on giving me the next crossover adventure to watch), it would be the most minor nitpick of cutting the very last portion of The Monitor telling Oliver there needs to be a balance if Kara and Barry are to live. I think we all knew when we saw it on its initial airing that Oliver was going to cut a deal with The Monitor. If we were left to believe Oliver’s plea to The Monitor was enough, it would’ve brought a big shock later when we see the rest of the conversation and saw Oliver gave himself as the sacrifice for them. Mind you, this does not take away anything from this edit, it was only a suggestion.

These crossover edits are downloaded and on an external hard drive connect to my tv for repeat viewings and you better believe these will be repeated viewings in the future.

Now, we wait for the red skies to appear as the Crisis is inevitable…..

I enjoyed BionicBob's previous CWVerse edits, but this one, it's his masterpiece. This crossover is more focused on the characters rather than full action, which is, I found, more suitable for a TV to Film edit. The story is also the one I had the most fun with; the 2 hours went like a speeding bullet, and I didn't feel any length or stretched moment. As Bruce Wayne said, that's some damn good television.

I love the arrowverse shows. Some moments really get a comic book fan excited. This crossover was one of those moments for me. I told my wife through the entire thing when we watched as it aired, I kept saying, 'they're going for it. they're going to do it.' Elseworlds was a great lead in with some pacing problems and to much focus given to parts of the story that could/should be overlooked. Bob's fanedit fixes all those issues. I couldn't think of a single scene that was needed to be kept. Once again the pacing is great, everything flows so well and it was an absolute pleasure to watch.

Now to patiently wait for COIE Bob style and the return of my Flash. (I literally jumped out of my chair the first time it aired when Flash-90 shows up in this)
