Captain America: The Winter Soldier - Defrosted Edition

I am a huge fan of CA:TWS and naturally was very interested in watching this edit of the film. I loved it.
I have only one word to describe it - WOW! Bobson took a fantastic film and made it even better!
The deleted and extended scenes are weaved in seamlessly, and truly improve the film. Both Video and Audio are top notch, and TM2YC's work on one of the deleted scenes looks professional.
The only thing that was missing for me was subtitles for the foreign languages dialogue, which Bobson later provided.
Bottom line: Highly recommended.

I watched this before Christmas and I had been meaning to write a review for quite some time.
If you already like the film as it is, you'll appreciate the restored scenes, they add to the film if only a little.
People who aren't already fans, I doubt there's enough to give you reason to re-watch.
If I hadn't followed the thread regarding this edit to see the wrk put in, I doubt I would have noticed the workarounds for certain scenes, other than that this is a great edit with seamless cuts.

Going forward this will be my go to for all future watches.

Mr Dugnutt did a splendid job adding back those extra scenes that had been trimmed and the result is making an already awesome film even better. The edits are totally seamless and if you're a fan of this film and/or good action flicks, then you NEED to watch this since it's pretty much the definitive edit of the movie.

A slightly overrated (but still enjoyable) entry in the MCU, I didn't pick up on a ton of changes from the original version, except that Bobson added in a plot beat that was sorely missing -- namely Fury giving Natasha the holographic face mask that just appears out of nowhere in the original's climax. Much appreciated.

Now if somebody just manages to fix the unnatural and joke-killing way that ScarJo pronounces "mul-tie-tasking" during the opening sequence, I'll be all-in on this one...

There is no question that TM2YC put a lot of work into this and it shows...certainly for me it raise my enjoyment from an 8 (Theatrical) to a 10, though there are a few narrative bbits that still feel off, but that is still up from an 8 (theatrical) to a 9. Others have covered it below, so no point rehasing.

There were segments and passages where the audio had a mudies feel about it. It did not spoil anything per-se but I do wonder if there was an issue on the mixing or conversion ...nevertheless, most won't notice I would imagine.

There is no question that the deleted material does improve the overall narrative, and the work to complete scenes if great, though some still feel not quite over the line...but it worked for me.

Regardless of the nit-piks, I really enjoyed this and it will be my go to version from here...10 Enjoyment and highly recomended.
