Captain America: The Winter Soldier - Defrosted Edition

I watched this before Christmas and I had been meaning to write a review for quite some time.
If you already like the film as it is, you'll appreciate the restored scenes, they add to the film if only a little.
People who aren't already fans, I doubt there's enough to give you reason to re-watch.
If I hadn't followed the thread regarding this edit to see the wrk put in, I doubt I would have noticed the workarounds for certain scenes, other than that this is a great edit with seamless cuts.

Going forward this will be my go to for all future watches.

Mr Dugnutt did a splendid job adding back those extra scenes that had been trimmed and the result is making an already awesome film even better. The edits are totally seamless and if you're a fan of this film and/or good action flicks, then you NEED to watch this since it's pretty much the definitive edit of the movie.

Id never seen the deleted scenes before and hadnt watched the movie itself in quite some time so I went in blind and tried to see if I could pick out the deleted scenes. They were all seamlessly reintegrated and I couldnt tell where the cuts were. I just noticed the one where Cap's uniform is in the school gym because I knew it wasnt in the movie to begin with. the rest of the deleted scenes are small and quick. After reading about the Sitwell greenscreen scene I have to say it looks great and theres no way I wouldve been able to tell it was a deleted scene. Im glad it was put back in it adds a lot to Maria Hill's character. I just found out there exists a v2 of this edit with updated color grading. excited to see what Bobson is up to next!

So I really liked this fanedit! This fanedit adds pretty great scenes and I don't really understand why they were cut as they are harmless and provide much needed interactions. The audio of the film itself is not too great and sometimes and I have a hard time hearing what the characters are saying so the audio mixing could be better and this fanedit doesn't provide subtitle translations to some non-english dialogue in the beginning scenes (the ship for example). This fanedit however is great in every regard except that and will be my go-to way to watch this amazing superhero film from now on! Thanks bobson!

Pretty much flawless. I can't rate the A/V editing a 10 as I knew what was/wasn't apart of the original. If I wasn't as familiar with this movie as I am, I wouldn't not been able to tell what was added and when.

Strongly recommend this edit. Better than the original probably, just cause more is better when it comes to a good film like this!
