While this is considered one of the epic marvel movies but compared to previous installments of the MCU like Captain America: Civil War unfortunately isn't the most visually impressive nor ambitious story-wise as it always felt like a rip-off to The Lion King(no offense). In fact, the CGI are so animated and even outdated that I don't think removing some of the bad CGI moments wasn't necessary, but it is appreciated though that one long-shot close-up scene when both T'Challa and Erik falling down in the mines was obviously edited and cut half-way was kind of awkward but like I said it is not something that I would miss anyway. The best thing about this fan edit is obviously the added deleted scenes fleshing out T'challa and contrasting his childhood with Erik's was genius and let's not forget his relationship with Martin Freeman's character too. And lastly switching the un scene first and Oakland second made the ending more natural and emotional not sure why they didn't do in the final cut in the first place but yet again this fan edit solves that problems.
This fanedit is another worthy replacement of the original by Lapis Molari and fans of the original will definitely love it.

This edit is much better than the theatrical. It's a pretty light edit, and I mainly recall edits around tightening the action scenes, especially the ones with bad CGI. The only drop in quality which others have pointed out was the cave fight scene. Other than that it was great. Highly recommend

A fantastic and recommended edit.
As promised, this edit effectively trims the bad CGI, fixes sequencing issues, and reorders certain scenes in order to create better pacing and a better narrative. Each is a minor change, but together they improve the film immensely and help it shine.
Visual and audio editing are perfect, as always. There is one minor exception at the cave fight, as T'Challa and Killmonger fall down to the railway. Perhaps a more extensive trim would have salvaged it. Anyway, considering the very problematic source material - I applaud Lapis Molari for handling it that well.
All in all - highly recommended.

So, this is actually the second time watching this fanedit, and I have to say, it is really good. Easily the best MCU movie since Civil War, this edit lovingly cut out what little bad there was (way to much CGI, and most of it bad) and really honed the themes of the movie by adding deleted scenes that never should have been removed and reordering a few things to really hammer it home, making a good movie great.

For the most part the technical side of the edit was flawless, with no obvious cuts in either video or audio... except one. During the final battle when T'challa and Killmonger fall there is a VERY obvious cut. Now its been so long since I saw the original movie that I don't actually remember this sequence, but it felt like a rather arbitrary cut for it to be so rough. Maybe what is missing is better left unremembered. I can't be bothered to grab the blu-ray out of storage.

Regardless, a fantastic edit, and definitely recommended.
