Just to be clear, I rate fanedits on a scale based on the source material. I do not believe Black Panther is a 10/10 film, I'm actually not that big a fan of it, nor do I think this edit is a full 10/10 in general either. However, I do think this edit is better than the original film, and it better accomplishes everything that Black Panther tried to. Additionally, I didn't notice any A/V issues, and liked the small narrative changes this edit made. Thus, my enjoyment is a 10/10, as I enjoyed it as much (if not more) than the original.

An excellent edit. As the description mentions, it is very light with just a few trims and the addition of a very small number of deleted scenes (maybe only one key one near the start) but they all make a big difference. If you haven’t watched the theatrical version in a while you may not notice the changes but as someone who saw it quite recently this stands out as a slight but important improvement on an already great movie.

Edits are seamless. Outstanding job!

I really enjoyed this, as it fixed a lot of the minor shortcomings of the movie. Lapis made some good decisions here. I thought I just wanted some of the hokey CGI trimmed, and was pleasantly surprised to realize that there were narrative edits that would improve the story so much. Good audio/video quality, just as good as the blu-ray version, and I did not notice anything amiss. I did notice the slight jump when BP and Killmonger fall into the mine, and then land suddenly. Not sure if it's even worth mentioning.

Since this is a light edit I don't really have to say much, just that I welcome all these changes made by the editor. Removing bad CGI is most definitely welcome, having more of the king and his brother at the beginning was also great, as was the choice to put the scene with T'Challa at the UN before his trip Oakland and also extend it, instead of mid-credits scene.

The only suggestion I would make is that we could remove some of the bad or out of place jokes.

Also, major props for having english subtitles!

I most definitely recommend this edit and I see no reason why it shouldn't be your go to version of the movie.

Thank you lapis molari for all your hard work and thanks to anyone who read my review!
