Amazing from beginning to end. In my opinion, a masterpiece in fanediting.

Thanks Scribbling Man for creating the best version of one of my favorite sci-fi films of all time.

I already liked the original and have read the book, so I wanted to revisit the movie in a new way and found great enjoyment from this version. Only slightly recall the original music to be honest, but the new music choices suited the movie great!
Well worth your time if you want to give it another watch.

I must say this outright, I removed 1 point for visuals because nothing is ever perfect.
I enjoyed every bit of this edit as well as I enjoyed the original. It’s only when watching this edit that I realized the original was guiding us a little too much from time to time. Scribbling Man removed those small bits where our hands were held and let us loose inside the Shimmer. Everything works fine. The music plays a more subtle role. I think the original score is good. It’s bringing some sensibility, maybe even some comfort (thinking about the folk guitar). In Scribbling Man edit, the music seems to be there only for tension, or weariness.
I was impressed with the original movie visuals and wondered how the editor inserted their name in the credits. It’s only when I watched it again that I saw the trickery. But again, every other visual cuts are good. Bravo!

I love this. It's the correct version of the film, period

I enjoyed the original film, then I read the book and, while still thinking of the film as incredible, a few aspects of it diverged too much from the book's theme. Also, the film had way too much dialogue, it detracted from the experience

All of that is perfectly fixed here. As a bonus, changing the score with no more acoustic guitar really helps

I very much dug the original, regardless of it flaws. TSM wonderfully fixed it and I'm digging this so much more. A go-to version. Yet to check out the isolated score. There's the reason to spin it again, and soon.
