Alien V: Alien Covenant - Extended Cut

Being a massive fan of the franchise since the first Alien came out and of pretty much all of Ridley Scotts work I was anxious before watching this that it would miss Ridleys "touch" so to speak.
It did not, it only enhanced the original cut.
I thought Covenant was a great film but felt it was missing something fundamental in its storytelling.
So pleased and impressed of how Wraith managed to make this in my opinion complete version of the film,
Really cool also how the original Alien soundtrack was included so effectively, (in my opinion one of the best soundtracks of all time)
All in all a tremendous feature and I highly recommend this to everyone
Would love to see what Wraith could do with Prometheus as the fanedits I have watched so far leaves something to be desired

Wraith did an excellent job here! Editing is perfect, and for Alien fans, this is the ultimate watching experience! This edit includes the extended scenes incorporated into the movie in a very professional way, plus extra material and promotional videos, placed right where they belong! This is really a treat!

I am new to this forum and watching fan edits in general. I decided to peruse through the top rated edits and saw that Alien: Covenant was one of them by someone called Wraith. I looked into the user and saw that they consistently got high marks for their edits so I figured I would take a dumpster fire of a film and see if someone could make it worthy of recommendation.

To say I was impressed would be an understatement. A lot of you may know Wraith as the myth and the legend, but for a newcomer I was surprised with the care and eye that went into this edit. I mean, we are talking about arguably the worst film in the Alien series that someone got turned into maybe the second or third best one (I have yet to watch any Prometheus edits so who knows how the order will stack up after.) If this were to be released in theaters, moviegoers would just assume this is another one of Ridley Scott's Director's Cuts; Yes it is that good of an edit due to the cohesion of the added scenes giving us more context, the blending of the audio is unnoticeable, and the scene transition editing is near flawless. Highly recommend!

Excellent, excellent, excellent FanEdit. These extended version in general, but this extension specifically, utterly change the entire enjoyment of the movie.

*SPOILER* the added advert for the new Walter past the end credits was a great surprise - in addition it was interesting the "white goo" used to give a mechanical object "life" while the premordial black goo extinguishes biological life ... interesting dichotomy and lead in to so many more themes in the future.

I thouroughly enjoyed this extended version -- kudos to Wraith and please keep your talent alive to bring us what should be correct versions of movies!!

Wraith has done incredible work here, bringing a balance that the original version lacked.
I watched my Blu-ray of this a few day ago, just to reacquaint myself with the original.
And today, saw this brilliant edit. I felt so much more empathy for the crew. And, to have Franco's
contribution's added properly, you engage more emotionally with Daniels. Her grief is easier to relate to,
Why on earth Ridley Scott chose to axe these scenes is beyond me. Maybe he get's so close to his movie's,
that he's too close to see the bigger picture. Thank you Wraith, you restored the balance, and the heart and
soul back into this great movie. And kudos to that coda, excellent touch. 10/10 in every possible regard.
