Having seen Koregan's first fanedit dedicated to the Ace Attorney series, which aimed to condense the narrative arc of the first game into a film lasting over two hours, while correcting the shortcomings of the animated adaptation, I was eager to watch the sequel.
I'm not going to beat about the bush : the work done here is impressive. The cuts are appropriate, the changes to the music welcome, and the story is improved by the many changes made.
The technical side of things is always meticulous, reinforcing the feeling of a true cinematic experience. "Justice For All" was particularly complex to adapt to this format, but the author has managed to get the best out of the anime while pleasing the video game fans.
A must-watch for all fans of the franchise and definitely the best Ace Attorney adaptation to date. Can't wait for Trials and Tribulations !
