I'll keep these reviews brief as I'm reviewing Ray Danger's Nightmare on Elm Street series as a whole.
These edits are love letters to the original series, working to bring more cohesion across numerous avenues. Visual quality is dark, clean, and consistent. All changes to the score are period and mood appropriate. Narratively, this edit specifically offers an experience that is much more akin to the original film than the theatrical version of Freddy's Revenge. I always found the second installment to me a guilty pleasure, but this edit's more sinister take is a much preferred viewing experience, even if we don't get to see the fatal combination of a bird and a cherry bomb.
