If you're going to watch this movie, this is probably the way to watch. That said, I can't recommend watching this movie. (Thoughts on it in detail are here: https://boxd.it/32NfOF)
This film flopped on release, then got something of a cult following after finding a bit of success in the UK. If, like me, you were thinking of picking up an old copy just to watch this fanedit, you might want to save your $10. I just didn't connect with it at all. Watch the car race scenes on Youtube instead.
No fault of the editor though. This edit is technically flawless and I think the aspect ratio works well. I didn't have the heart to knock the "enjoyment" score of the edit down to a 2 simply because I didn't like the film itself. I wasn't in the cult, but other viewers might find it enticing.
